Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Notice there are two books opened and two judgements given as one is for the judgement of those who are not of God and have not Christ in them they will be judged for their self-righteous works, Matthew 7:21-23, and evil deeds and cast into the lake of fire. The other book is the Lamb's (Christ) Book of Life where those who are in Christ and He in them will be judged and rewarded for those righteous works of God they have done while in this present body before they are changed, Corinthians 15:51-54, but also loose some rewards for the bad things that were done in the body that were not confessed before Christ returns.

Below are the five crowns we can receive:

CROWN OF LIFE
Martyr's crown is the crown of life given to those who have endured all temptations, trials and tribulations here on earth and have never taken no thought of their own lives, but remained steadfast in the word of God living their lives in total surrender to Jesus. James 1:12; Rev 2:10

CROWN OF REJOICING
A crown of rejoicing is a soul winner’s crown. When we accept Gods commission to take his word out into the world through the power of the Holy Spirit working through us we all rejoice when one lost soul comes back to Gods grace. It’s like the story of the Shepard that had a flock of sheep and one of them strayed away. Even though he loved all his flock he rejoiced more for the lost one he found as now his whole flock was again all together. Imagine the rejoicing if all Gods lost children were found and brought back to Gods grace. What a day of rejoicing that would be. We rejoice in the goodness of God for all the blessings he pours out on us as he is faithful with his promises. 1 Thessalonians 2:19, 20; Philippians 4:1; Matthew 28:18; Matthew 18:11-13

CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
A crown for those who love his appearing and will be given in that day to the Lord as a bride to a groom. We will see God in all his glory and his righteousness which is our strength when Jesus returns in the clouds to catch us up to meet him in the air and to be with the Lord forever. Gods’ righteousness is perfect in all his judgment on his people. With Gods righteousness we are perfected as we go through the refiner’s fire to be made pure and holy before his throne of grace. It doesn’t matter how we ourselves try to be righteous we can never be so on our own ability because our own righteousness is as a filthy rag before the Lord because we are all sinners, but those who have been Spiritually reborn or renewed of Gods Spirit to them they have been made righteous before the Father.
2 Timothy 4:8; Isaiah 45:24; Isaiah 61:10

CROWN INCORRUPTIBLE
An incorruptible crown is a victor’s crown to those who have died to self and are subject to the guidance of the Holy Spirit leading them in all their ways and teach with the knowledge that only comes by the Holy Spirit who will teach us all things and bring those things back to our remembrance. None of us are perfect in our own ways, but are perfected by the Holy Spirit working in us and through us.
1 Corinthians 9:25-27; 1 John 2:28,29; Rev 4:10, 11

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
1st Corinthians 3
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. [not sure why the font size is so large ] this is the bema judgment seat where our works we done will be judged by fire the wood hay stubble is things done of our self. Gold silver precious stone the things that are of God.. there are rewards/ crowns that will be given
then there is the white throne judgement. if anyone appears at this you are at the point of no return
Revelation 20 :
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
there is judgment of the nations Matthew 25:31 -46
i am not very good at making post like this. but clearly in scriptures Christians will be judged for there works give a account of the good and bad . ( note this is not a salvation judgement ) feel free to add on or ignore lol
You have picked 3 scripture areas that contrast works and / gvs grace. We know full well that most folks will pick what they believe and ignore what the scripture says.

I am pretty sure I suffer from the same tendency. I will try and make a point. If I miss it, I am sure I will hear the supposed error of my ways explained.

One problem is in not getting lost on where you are in the three areas.

I Corinthians 3:7 KJV
But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glorywas to be done away:

This is the works of the law area. Was there a time of works if the law? Absolutely.

II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Notice the people do the work. Notice the land is healed. The problem arises if you think you go to heaven on what you do.

II Chronicles 7:19 KJV
But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

Under the old covenant:
1. You do good works you benefit
2. You slip into sin you suffer
Works of law. Written in books of what you did.

Which foundation are you on?
1. Christ Jesus
2. Moses Law

Can you believe in the foundation of Jesus and practice works of law? I really think this is what is happening / veins dealt with in the judgement throne / thrones. Remember we are bouncing around in scripture.

Now a / the most interesting book. The book of life. The book that registers you for believing in the work Jesus Christ did for us.
IMHO this book records our eternal life in heaven. Ok scream fuss, but this book is looked at too.

I Corinthians 3:15 KJV
But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

We are threading through three areas of scripture you set up. You are talking about a super difficult effort to know wher you are.

On the foundation of Jesus you depend on his work.

On the foundation of the law you depend on your work.

Believing on Jesus you get to heaven, but just barely if you are operating on works of law.

What did I try and stress?
Is your name written in the Lambs Book of Life? Can our works go away and we still be saved ??

The Bema seat of Christ is where the saints are to be judged. Not for our sins as those dead in them who were not redeemed in the Lamb. When God looks upon us at the Bema seat he see's his son and his sacrifice covering us as saints who are reborn in the covenant of God's grace.
What we'll be judged for at the Bema is how we represented as Christ's emissaries. We're living temples carrying God's holy spirit inside us, sealed for all time with that spirit within. How we met the world and represented as that example of the good news in action in a life, the individual Christians, is what we shall be judged for. And rewarded for in the end.
We should be careful not to make complicated what Jesus made so simply as a truth of God in him.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Yes, we all must appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, and it is already running, even in this first century of the seventh and last millennium or last Day.

Based in the Word of God, the source of the truth, on God's six days of creation and one day of rest (a total of seven days) plus the Scriptures that teach that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years
(Psalm 90:4; II Pet. 3:8; Heb. 4:4) so MANKIND will go through six God days of 1,000 years each (a total of 6,000 years) plus a Millennium of 1,000 years rest (now a total of 7,000 years).

In accord biblical Chronology, we can number our days, beginning in Genesis chap.5, as follow::
Adam lived ….......................................130 yrs and begat Seth
Seth lived ...........................................105 yrs and begat Enosh;
Enosh lived .......................................... 90 yrs and begat Kenan;
Kenan lived...........................................70 yrs and begat Mahalalel;
Mahalalel lived ....................................65 yrs and begat Jared;
Jared lived ..........................................162 yrs and begat Enoch;
Enoch lived ...........................................65 yrs and begat Methuselah;
Methuselah lived................................187 yrs and begat Lamech;
Lamech lived ......................................182 yrs and begat Noah;
From Noah´s birth until the Flood....600 yrs.

Total of yrs from Adam to the Flood=1,656 yrs.

I work with the Word of God. Notice that the table above is proved by the Word of God, it is not of human theories or human speculations. Let us study the times until our days not by human theories and speculations, but by the Word of God. So, see the table below:

PERIODS OF BIBLICAL TIMES ------------------------------- DURATION

I - From Adam until the Flood------------------------------ 1,656 years (as was showed above)
II - From the Flood until Abraham--------------------------- 427 years
III - From Abraham until Exodus----------------------------- 430 years
IV - From Exodus until king Saul ----------------------------- 396 years
V - From Saul until the fall of Jerusalem ----------------- 508 years
VI - From the fall of Jerusalem until Jesus --------------- 587 years

Thus, from Adam until the 1st coming of Jesus ------ 4,004 years
From Jesus until our days (Christian Calendar)-------2,017 years
Total from Adam until our days --------------------------- 6,021 years

Jesus came in the fourth Day of God's week or around 4.000 years after the creation of the first Adam. From JESUS (fourth Day) until our days, have passed more two Days of the week of God, totalizing 6 complete Days or six milleniums, or around 6.000 years, more precisely 6.017 years, conform Christian Calendar pointing 2.017 years. We have entered in the first century of the seventh and last millennium, or seventh and last Day, that is the Great Sabbath, the Millennium of Christ, that is the Millennium of Truth, the Day of the Lord, and the Day of Vengeance, and the Day of Judgment, the Judgment Seat of Christ. The world of Devil is already Judged, and Condemned, and now, in this seventh and last millennium, it will be punished, yes, there will be punishment, only and only punishment, in this last Day, the Day of the Lord JESUS, King of the kings and LORD of the lords.

And God Father already entered in His rest, as He had planned in the beginning of His works, but He is not sleeping, of course, and JESUS assume the government of the Universe. JESUS is now sat on His Tribunal, the Judgment Seat of Christ, to Judge ALL NATIONS, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not His gospel, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power.

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. (Rev.11:15) v.17 We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest DESTROY them which destroy the earth.

The kingdom of God comes not with observation, neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (Rev.12:7-11 reveal us) And there was war in heaven (heaven(s) is not the physical space of the Universe-(sky), but celestial place(s) in Christ or Dispensations as is written in Eph.1:v.3) : Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And they (Michael and his angels) overcame him (overcome Satan and his angels) by the blood of the Lamb (by the blood of JESUS), and by the word of their testimony; and they, loved not their lives unto the death.

Do you think the Book of Life spoken of in Revelation 20, is that same book that is said to be opened before the white throne of judgment, wherein the deeds , good and bad, are listed as to pertaining to the saved in Christ?
While the Bema seat is where those in death and Hades are judged are the same one's who's names are not in the Book of Life, Rev. 20, .
I think there is only one judgment.
Either you are in the Book of Life or you are not.
Here's what Jesus said:
John 5:26-29: (NKJV)
For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,
and has given Him authority to execute judgment also,
because He is the Son of Man.

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth
—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life,
and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

That's it.

The time is of HARVEST. (Matt.13:27-30)
Remember:
The end of the WORLD is the HARVEST (not a WWIII) (Matt.13:39KJV)
Let us remember also
(1John 2:28KJV) And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

I'm familiar with references to two different judgment seats. The white throne, and the Bema seat. The later is where only believers will appear. While the former is for those in the world, the unsaved. The saved in Christ wouldn't be judged with the sinners so as to have one judgment for all. That doesn't seem to make sense, so why would there be but one throne of judgment wherein these judgments would take place?
The Bema seat described among scriptures such as this. Romans 14:10–12 says, “For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. . . . So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God”

While those who are not saved are mentioned also. One example. Revelation 20:7-15

I think there is only one judgment.
Either you are in the Book of Life or you are not.
this is true judgment of the lost depart from me Christians at the bema seat accountability of works either of Gold silver precious stone things that come through the fire purified... wood hay stubble poof up in flames our own works

(Daniel 12:1-3KJV)
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up
(1Thess. 4:16 - voice of the Archangel as an ambassador of the Lord JESUS), the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: JESUS also spoke of this terrible time (Matt.24:21&15-20): and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake
(there will be resurrection), some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Rev. 12:7-11
7 And there was war in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Rev. 19:11&13-16&19-21KJV -
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and
in righteousness he doth JUDGE and make WAR.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And
out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

eddif did write in the post #42:
>>>IMHO this book records our eternal life in heaven. Ok scream fuss, but this book is looked at too.<<<

About the expression "heaven", I would like to make the follow comment:
"Heaven(s)" is not the physical space of the Universe, but celestial places in Christ. In the beginning (in JESUS) God created heavens. There are several heavens. The Apostle Paul was caught to the 3rd heaven. He knew that there had been two more heavens or two more celestial places established here by our God, which are: the Old Testament (first celestial place or 1st heaven), and the New Testament (the second celestial place in Christ or 2nd heaven). The 3rd heaven (read Luke 20:35-36) will be established now, even in this seventh and last millennium, the Millennium of Christ. The first and second heavens which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire (they both were conamined by the Enemy) against this Day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

After the end of this seventh and last millennium, will be established the heaven of the heavens.

And what do you understand from that selection of scriptures?
We may have different opinions.

eddif did write in the post #42:

Temporal life in this heaven.
Eternal life in the heaven where God is. II Corinthians

The saved in Christ wouldn't be judged with the sinners so as to have one judgment for all.

Yes, I agree that His people are not judged with the world.

Here is the Judgement of His people.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:31-46

All His people will be gathered before His throne from every tribe, tongue and nation, for the Day of Judgement.

His Bema Seat:

  • Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

  • Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Seth lived ...........................................105 yrs and begat Enosh;
Enosh lived .......................................... 90 yrs and begat Kenan;
Kenan lived...........................................70 yrs and begat Mahalalel;
Mahalalel lived ....................................65 yrs and begat Jared;
Jared lived ..........................................162 yrs and begat Enoch;
Enoch lived ...........................................65 yrs and begat Methuselah;
Methuselah lived................................187 yrs and begat Lamech;
Lamech lived ......................................182 yrs and begat Noah;

AMEN!
