Now be careful, we were discussing how to treat a lady, I will never lie to Brock by telling a lie. My wife has been mine for almost27 years and she is still a mystery I enjoy searching out. Ladies are like God in the respect that who can understand them? But still I love mine, almost as much as I love God.
I treat my wife as she tells me otherwise:blackeye

Only joking.

I have been married almost 24 years.
The only one on my family not to have been divorced apart from my youngest brother but he had so many relationships and three kids as a result that he walked away from.

I love my wife deeply. Without her I would be nothing.
God gave me the life partner I needed.

She says the same about me.
We must be doing something right. I would say it's because we put Jesus first in our marriage and our lives.

Whilst I will never understand why we think differently, (Men are from a Venus and women from Mars) I have got to know her pretty well and I endeavour to meet her needs and love her like Jesus loves the church.

I don't always get it right but when a marriage is Christ centred it makes it a lot easier.

She is more content with that.
Although the odd ring and jewellery item doesn't go amiss.

Kids are afraid to get married these days because they see all the divorce around them.
Satan spews out lies, and our society accepts them. You know, like men and women have to be the same...God didn't make us to be the same. You're right, men are from Mars and women are from Venus. But it's a good thing. Not today. Everyone wants to be the same.

I think your post is a wonderful testimony for any younger person that might read it.
Love is a commitment.
Love should be good.

Yes I agree with you 100%

It's so sad. The world has lost its concept of love.

It's all about feelings and emotions and showing you love others by buying them presents along with if you buy this then you will be loved.

Truly sad indeed.

Love is not a feeling, it's an act of your will.

Mine even lets me spend 10 or twelve dollars a month. Really, she freaked out once she saw my financial situation and went right to work straightening it out, she is a Jewel of a gift and like someone mentioned, we always place Jesus first and we keep running into each other on our way to talk with Him..

I see. It's a challenge.
Good to have something to motivate us.
Do you speak any other languages?
I speak Italian
and I used to speak Spanish but I've forgotten it since I never use it.
I also speak my dialect, but I don't think that's considered a language even though it has all its own words.
I took German in high school, but don't remember much of it. I developed an interest in Japanese when I first start training in karate. I felt it was just as important to train the mind as the body.

What do you all think of bitcoin?. It seems to be going through the roof at moment. It was at 3k a couple months ago and now its at 17k.

I can see it as the future as everyone moves towards a more digital society.

If bitcoin is the future as many seem to have faith in it because its bigger than the entire stock market as people lose more faith in the establishment and controlled system, the establishments and super elites and the entire banking system would have a major cry they have no more control over the system and its real free trade for the people.

How can I pay taxes if I work for bit and everything I buy and sell is bit and it cannot ever be controlled. Its just digital currency and a personal number just like I would check my normal bank account and pay with everything with a card.

But of course it would still be the same, some people are rich and some people are broke, but its not controlled and cannot be controlled.

Bitcoin is in a mania. However, its success is partly because the average person prefers deflation. Nothing better than to have your paycheck or pension buy additional goods each month.

Most of our taxes get spent on crap. Its the same system like charity, by the time it gets to the people in need they only get the crumbs. Too many middle man wanting a piece of the pie.

Old age. Almost everyone gets there eventually. Would help if bankers would stop inflating away people's retirement savings and pensions. Not everyone has children to help them when they get older.

But thats how alot of people work. They invest there savings in a bank and think they are saving over the years but it only ends up working with inflation and the cost of living.

Put a deposit with 5% interest pa, and inflation grows say 3% pa, so its really only 2% gain.

The most common interest rate on savings accounts is 0.01% across the nation. That is below the rate of inflation. If someone saves $1000 this year for their retirement, it will only be worth about $440 in 40 years with 2% inflation. Bankers will have confiscated over half of their savings before they can spend any of it. What chance do youngsters have today?

No wonder people are flocking to Bitcoin and other manias.
