bieng that i famiralised myself with gitmo.

and its not as black and white as you like to say. is wrong done yes.

but in war one isnt allowed nor be to trial by lawyer for detention.

only for war crimes does one need that.

there are some areas for where the govt needs to delineate juris prudence.

if its a u.s. citizen that is caught in war and as an enemy soldier/terrorist where does one go to for the legal meanst to judge and yes american like mcviegh are terrorists.

yeah some thing called standard what is taught, basic math, reading and history.

god forbid that we have kids that cant spell, do basic math.

that is the standards. they allow creationism to be taught. and dont force them to teach evolution.

So if your kids arn't registered to a school then the governments comes round your house and either approves of your schooling techniques OR FORCES your kids to go to a public school?

Is that what your saying?

and? what would do you, leave em home to what be ignorant.

the govt set the standards such as these?

2+2=4
subject followed by verb and object makes a sentence

in 1492 columbus sailed the ocean blue, that is the standards.

got a problem with that. been that way since the first public school over 100 yrs ago.

that aint asking much.

what a parent shouldnt teach his kids something? or just lies.

we christians fought for that right and i had friends who did go to jail for homeschooling, but they were realised and the state supreme court said that they had the right to teach their kids.that was in the 70's.

police state i dont think so.

so you drive any way you want on the road? go the wrong way, and then call thailand a police state!

your legal degree please. and read and actually see what defines the gitmo rights the geneva conventions which
actually say nothing about the acts of terrorist groups so then what we just realease them and they go and do it agian and agian or do we hold them.

so are you for the rights of pedophiles and letting them go to school and live near your child and even work with them?
even thought they havent been rehabed and few are.

against sex offenders registries
against the permanent revocation of their right to own guns(if a violent rapists)

that is one those "grey"areas since they have served time.

....your ONLY allowed to teach your kids what the government say is ok.

OF COURSE! I'm for ANYONES rights!

If they have been convicted in a court of law then they will recieve just punishment and any penalties that are due to them.

If they are SUSPECTED then they desreve due process and a trial by jury.

Do suspected terrorists have the right to due process YES OR NO?

It's the million dollar question.

Just send them to my house, I already have the basement set up just for terrorist. And when I finish beating them they will become first rate Christians, some will even become preachers.:salute:biggrin:lol

what would you charge a soldier that kills in battle in does it legally and according to the laws of war?

research what the hague convention and geneva says.

read it then i will answer yours. or you tell me.

google or find a site that explains what the geneva convention(s) actually says about lawful detention of detainees and also what constitute an enemy combatant and what is a war crime.

its not hard. and then tell me what it says and you understand where i am coming from on the gitmo detainees and also what is says about the non actors and what it doenst deal with.

the very notion of those conventions come from clara barton a christian that started the red cross/international red cross.
