I work in a fast-food joint and I love getting heaps of shifts in the semester break. I dunno why. It's not exactly a rewarding or high-value job, but it's some kind of escape from university life, which while uni life is flexible and interesting, I find it gets pretty stressful. At least it does for me. So I generally enjoy going to work. Nice when the money rolls in, too. Especially because many of us down here pay ~$1,200 per year for our textbooks :gah
How's school going? I'm 6 weeks into uni semester 2, and I wasn't very prepared, lol. Can't wait till mid-sem break in a couple of weeks to catch up, lol.
That sucks that you've missed church stuff. Hopefully you've been able to go abit more since you posted. Despite being busy I've been able to continue to go to Bible study (both at church and at uni), church service and also lead Sunday school. While it means I have less time for other things, I continue to grow spiritually, and many church interactions every week keep me encouraged in my faith despite drowning at uni.
How's your bible reading going? Mine was rubbish last semester but it's going a lot better this semester. I'm going through Matthew at the moment. Up to chapter 5. We should do some more stuff in our private bible study if we can
