PS: Most of the time folk are likely to be friendly anyway, I think / I hope you'll find; just sometimes someone will have a bad day... BTW, re. smoking, a lot of the Romans 14 type of issues (re. Christian liberty, etc.) tend to follow a pattern in the thread discussions; you posted various comments on cigarettes, and so did I; another one is drinking wine, etc; I think you'll probably come across folk having some lively discussions about this also. (My wife and I prefer not to drink wine.) In the end, what is condusive to sanctification is daily Scripture reading and prayer and fellowship. Blessings.
"For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword."
- Job 33:14-18 (KJV)
