When we travel we try to find local raw unfiltered, unpasteurized honey and bring it home to enjoy.
Sooooo
Today I have definitely decided that we need a better way to use our purchased honey for distribution on toast.
Honey dippers and a honey keeper.
If anyone knows about a good one please feel free to let me know.
I'm thinking about one handcrafted by a Craftsman/artisan out of turned clay.

Just about everything in my kitchen has a story behind it.
My favorite equipment especially.
And pasteurized/filtered honey is the only kind you can give to babies/small children or elderly with compromised immune systems. The rest of us deal with the stuff just fine and actually can improve our immune systems and allergies if we eat the unprocessed honey. (Also the flavor and aroma is better)
Also those using Botox injections probably shouldn't eat any honey like I do... unfiltered unpasteurized honey has trace amounts of botulinum toxin. Not enough to hurt you unless you have compromised your immune system with Botox.

Yes. But I trust that you can really buy it from the local farmers.
Or if you are experienced in this subject, you can get it from the trees or wherever they may be found (not advisable tho...bees are not always friendly). My sister's friend is in the business, and she produces it herself.

look up, hale groves, they and a lot of groves did also sell honey as often they paid for the bee keeper to keep his hive on their grove and it helped him and their citrus. so that honey will have a citrus(orange) taste to. orange blossoms. I haven't seen one in eons.

Oh yeah... we've gotten tons of local honey here. All the time.
But we also love to travel and bring back souvenirs. Something unique that wasn't made in China... unless that was where we were visiting.
And the unique flavors of the various honeys are location specific. Sourwood, Cotton, wildflower, almond, orange blossom and many others to name a few.
It's just a little hobby of collection that is of sustainable products without filling a house full of junk.
