I get the message. And I understand.
Yeah. In the US we can start a sentence with AND.
(not really! I break many rules but at least I know I'm doing it!)

Having breakfast. Yes. You heard right. Breakfast.
Then,,,

P.S. The Beatles were soooooo young.
It made me miss them to see that footage.

wondering,

Sir Paul McCartney at age 75, performed a concert here in Brisbane on 9 December 2017. You can read a full interview with him on ABC TV's 7.30 programme at: 'Quick, play Hey Jude': Paul McCartney's recurring nightmare'.

That's a modern-day look for McCartney, the oldie, who will not take a selfie with you but will go to the pub with you.

Um, if Allen is such a great guy how did he get banninated?

What on earth is the meaning of banninated? I checked 6 renowned dictionaries and not one of them recognised it as a word. I'd appreciate an explanation of the meaning.

HA!
Big Deal !
The Stones did a concert in Lucca just now in September.
I do believe Mick is 72 or so. And they rock!
(he doesn't jump around as much as he used to)
Those trees you see to the left of the screen are on top of the Wall that goes all around the original town of Lucca. There are maybe 2 or 3 in all of Italy that have not been destroyed.

This is really more of a question to my fellow mods and admins. But if you look at his name there is a line through it. Which usually means he is either temporarily suspended or just banninated (some say banned).

wondering,

My, that does bring back memories of my days as a novice radio DJ in the 1960s when the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, & Peter, Paul & Mary.

We must not forget Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins and Slim Dusty.

What variety of tree are those to which you referred?

You LOVE Slim Dusty!
I don't know the variety of trees.
They used to be all the same many years ago.
Then they got some disease and they had to be replaced.
Now there are about 3 different types of trees lining the wall.
Two children have fallen off. Tourists. There's no fence and it's a little dangerous.
We here teach our kids to stay far from the edge.
One little girl, 4 - from Germany, did die. About 7 or 8 yrs ago. (maybe)
Another one, just this year, survived.
It's a nice little town. If you ever come this way, let me know...

I have country music in my genetics!!! Since the earliest I can remember, I'd wake up early and was listening to 'Ridin' along with a smile & a song' on the local radio station, 4BU Bundaberg, and it was there that I was introduced to the bush balladeer, Slim Dusty. The first song I remember hearing as a 6-year-old was, 'When the Rain Tumbles Down in July'.

When Slim died of cancer in 2003 at the age of 76, he was given a State funeral. This was the song that became the first gold record in Australia, The Pub with No Beer. He was a bloke who loved the Aussie outback and the bush and wrote and sang lots of songs about the land, including Waltzing Matilda.

4BU is a radio station where I later became a DJ.

I had 3 bouts of rheumatic fever at ages 6, 10 and 12 and spent weeks in hospital on each occasion. A radio announcer by the name of Thelma Stay hosted a programme, 'Hello the hospitals', where friends and relatives of the sick could request songs and give greetings. It was here that friends knew to request Slim Dusty, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash for me, as well as others. She became a friend to me as a radio announcer through her voice on the air.
