Yes, Jesus will judge us at the Bema seat...rewards will be given or not given...yet we will be saved.

Here is the The Judgement Seat of Christ, with His servants gathered before Him, on the Day of Judgement.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:31-46

What does defiling the temple of God mean? You used it and bolded it out in this post.

Defiling other Christians in the Church community we are involved in.

Here is how Paul instructed the Church to deal with this very thing, describing it as leaven that spreads throughout the whole lump of dough.

Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” 1 Corinthians 5:7-13

  • I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.

  • But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

  • Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

Immorality is spread through the principle of defilement.

Jesus teaches us about this principle.

17 When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. 18 So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” 20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”
Mark 7:17-23

  • For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

There is an issue or flow that comes from our heart, that either defiles or brings forth the righteous life of the Spirit.

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38

Grandma said it this way - Birds of a feather flock together.

Paul understood this principle of defilement and the consequences of it which is why he wrote this in the very next chapter.

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

You typed a lot...but failed to make a point.

My point is if God gives you to Jesus...you will never be lost. (not saved)

Sorry for typing a lot and not making a point.

Please share the scripture for the statement you made.

But we are all dead in our sins to begin with; there is nothing in the story to remotely suggest that the son was 'saved' then lost his salvation and then regained it. That would be reading something into it that is not there.
There is a physical and spiritual POV to the story. I see the father saying 'he was dead and now is alive again' in the physical aspect: The son was gone, whereabouts unknown, no communication and could be seen allegorically as dead. His return is coming back to life because he is back among his family. The spiritual aspect we are all familiar with......

Yes the spiritual aspect is what I referred to.

Lost - Seperated from God.
Dead - Dead to God. Not physically.

It's pretty simple....the christians works will be judged. Good works rewarded bad works not......For the christian who does little, very little...you'll still be saved.

I guess you didn’t read my post.

There are two people mentioned, and you only seem to see one.

The worker - Paul and Apollos; those who build people into the collective temple.

The work - the people who are being built into the collective temple.

If the “work” the person who is being built into the collective temple is burned, the worker will lose his reward, but he himself will be saved.

Not so with the “work” who is burned, because he defiled the rest of the collective temple.

dirtfarmer here

Jesus paid the sin debt of the world. The only sin that was not paid for was unbelief. So, when you physically die in unbelief your sin debt has not been imputed(covered by the blood). Jesus was not sent to condemn but to save because we are born under condemnation. Adam's sons were born in his image, sinners. We are born condemned, it is not we sin, therefore we are sinners but we are born sinner therefore we sin.

It is not sins that condemn unbelievers, but the nature that we were born with which we received from Adam.

I had said "My point is if God gives you to Jesus...you will never be lost. (not saved)"

OK,

John 10:2 27 My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. 8 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

John 3: 15 that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

Romans 8:1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in ChristJesus. 2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death

Phil 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Heb 11:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

That isn't the Bema seat Judgement.

Can you see the context is about His twelve disciples that heard His call to follow His as disciples.

Can you see that Judas became lost after following Him for over 3 years, then became a traitor.

Very simple.

Romans 8:1Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in ChristJesus. 2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

That isn't the Bema seat Judgement.

It’s the Judgement seat of Christ on the Day of Judgement.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

We agree.
I know some osas believers that will say that WHATEVER life they live, they are still saved. This is very worrisome to me...

God will judge us on our BELIEF, meaning we were following His Son...on our deeds and our love for fellow human beings,

NOT on lip service to Him...
It is worrisome to all believers and a OSAS Believer it drives me nuts! But in spite of their attendance in Church, Sunday School, Wednesday Night Prayer Service and are the Church Secretary, still their fruit is rotten.

After I was saved I feared God, not! I fell in love with Him and before that if someone told me I would fall in love with a person I called him, we would have been in the Parking Lot working on my reputation. But now, I love Him and will no longer plan to do the things I had planned to do before I was saved.

I still fall on any given day but I also am prone to falling on my face in prayer and repentance because I have grieved the Holy Spirit/Jesus/God. no Saved man, woman nor child, willingly grieves these Holy persons. (Psa 19:13:17) On the other hand If I proclaim I am without sin, I am a liar. (Rom. 3:10&23)

From my time in the Joints and clubs and planning to sin, before I was saved, I know that both men and women that claim the name of Jesus as their own are found, alone or in a group of 2 to 3, where the Beer Drinking Music, sinful women and men are found, looking for an encounter, you know, just a little flop on a strange bed that God will forgive them for on Sunday.

i suggest to all here, they were never saved because they love self more than they love Jesus and should they not, truly, repent, at the Sinners Judgment, Jesus will tell them to go away (The Lake of Fire) from Him, He never knew them. Eternal Life or Death are not items to be played with.

Ok so a person believes and is baptized, goes to Church but because he does not keep His commandments, he won’t make it to heaven.

Agreed.

I believe when we sin we fall out of fellowship with God until we repent......losing salvation, if it is possible, I believe would require repudiation of God's existence not just sin......The only unforgivable sin is to blaspheme the HS.....
There is only one sin God will not forgive and that is grieving the Holy Spirit. And God enjoyed Fellowship with Adam and presumably with Eve until they were found to be in sin.

As a result, we are all born into that same State of Sin and must repent Repent and call on the Name of the Messiah and reestablish the relationship with God. Simply appearing in Church nor simply working to see the Church Building runs smoothly will never save one person.

Now, life experience: Over the twenty-five years I was singing, I learned to pqy attention to Body Language and as I said, already, the Church Building and the Church Family are full of sinners and I have certainly seen that come Hither Look in Service and at Church Functions. Satan is certainly providing all of us the opportunity to sin our favorite form of sin. But if we are saved, we will not because of our love for the Holy One.

Judas was never saved to begin with.

I don't even think Thomas was saved until Jesus appeared to him.

It’s the Judgement seat of Christ on the Day of Judgement.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

Those at the bema Seat are saved. I already gave you the verse that sais they were.

That sounds more like the White Throne..or possiblly a 3rd judgement.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

  • who do not walk according to the flesh,

That's a description, what it looks like..not a means unto salvation.

That's a description, what it looks like..not a means unto salvation.

It’s a description of damnation or not.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

Condemnation refers to the resurrection of damnation or condemnation.

28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. John 5:28-29

  • and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Ive seen no such verse.

Do you understand that the Judgement seat of Christ on the Day of Judgement is the “bema”.

Bema is the Greek word for Judgement Seat.

Matthew 25:31 is Jesus on the Day of Judgement, judging each one of us according to there deeds.

34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35

The deeds -

for I was hungry and you gave Me food;
I was thirsty and you gave Me drink;
