Internet Safety (This is a very important message that everybody needs to hear)

I mean all kinds of Internet safety. From being aware of cyber bullies (I was one in my past and I just barely escaped Juvenile Hall for it. That was way back before I even knew the Lord) to being catious about what your kids post online. The reason why I am posting this message in the first place and why I'm so cautious with my online activity today is because I was anything but careful in my youth. In fact I was so dumb thinking that I could trust everybody and that everybody was my best friend that I did something that I really regret now and wish I could take back. I gave out my address and phone number online. All I can say to that now is thank the Lord above that I'm still here to tell the tale. My parents were so angry that they removed my Internet privalleges immediately which I'm really glad that they did by the way. How could I have been so stupid!? I am so glad that I'm a lot older and wiser now and I really think that speaking from my own personal experiences that children really need to be old enough to know Internet safety and understand it before they go on it.

Yes, its not good to give out too much personal information on-line. You may put your family at risk.

What's even sadder is I can't even post a picture of myself or Joe or the rest of my loved ones due to the fear of our identities being stolen.

Machines can search for pictures on the Internet nowadays. Machines are getting smarter. If someone applies for a job, the employer can search for their face, as well as their name on-line.

Stay away from Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and the like. Christianforums.net is ok!
