Hi... Greeting everyone here.

I'm still a little bit hesitant about what to share here. I don't really know what to say. But I guess it would be best to just give it a try.

I'm young. I'm not sure where to go with my life... I had a rather difficult childhood, but probably something that's starting to become an unsurprising circumstance for the youth these days.

In the years that I've lived, I've been very diligent in trying to understanding how others think and behave. I guess I've read a whole lot of books to consider myself a very open-minded person who's probably looking for the truth.

I've always hungered for knowledge and wisdom. And now I want to understand more about the God that has loved me despite all my transgressions... I want to know Him more, and I want to know about the people in here that have had their own difficult times who have found refuge in God's love.

I hope to make friends... I hope to find people I can trust. I'd like to become a truly empathetic person who dismisses the judgements of others and who stays true and faithful to the path of becoming a better christian.

I guess I don't know what else to add at this point... I think I'll be looking around and hopefully figure out what to do next from there.

God Bless Everyone.

hello Kleia I just joined my self I have some of my own struggles in which I am also trying to figure out what to do next or how to do it I should say. I have been a baptized member of christ for about 9 years and i know that I will continue to become a better christian from now on (that means there will allways be able to improve and I am well aware of that). but welcome to the forum I hope you find good fellowship here I will try and help if i can.

Hello and thank you for all your replies. I'd feel honored if you would advice and share with me from time to time ^^ and please don't hesitate to let me know how I'd be able to help you as well :) I was born a christian and somewhere in High School I managed to lead a very religious but not a very faithful life. I think I was more concerned about "appearing" as a devoted christian and never realizing that my heart was never really in it in the first place. Where I grew up, it was more like a routine and not really a form of worship everytime we pray... I was fortunate growing up, being provided very generously by parents who doted on their only little girl. Was spoilt at a very young age... Here I am today, perhaps the little child in me just afraid of coming out. But like a fairytale gone wrong, that doted little girl went through a number of very depressing situations... But I look back at it all and tell myself that the Lord must have loved me so much and expected so much out of me because he did believe I would rise up from everything. And to tell the truth, if I didn't change and if I grew up having everything and turned out to be very blinded by material wealth and media brainwashing, the Kleia now would find it impossible to get along with the Kleia that could have been minus the trials. I'm a better person now because of what happened... :) And so I'd like to be part of a community that shares everything and anything to other members. Hopefully, I can get help and give help here.

Yes. The site has helped me better understand the ways and devotion of a True Christian. :)
Thank you for your reply. And for accepting my friend request, questdriven.

I have found this forum to very helpful to me already Kleia just by reading and posting on different threads. The thing I have noticed the most is that since I have been posting I have been thinking about scripture more. it has helped to keep my mind and thoughts on Gods word and it has made me more sensual to the effects of the holy spirit. My family missed bible study the other day and I started contributing to some of the threads according to my own testimony and that in itself has been a blessing to me. It has helped me keep communication with God simply by invoking vertical thought. If you have something like Esword to help you find and reference the scriptures you are thinking of it makes a huge difference. You can run it in a seperate wiindow and use it for your own little bible study. Just for the record I love Esword it is free and easy to use and I have found it to be a great and valuable tool over the past 9 years. Its good to hear from you and I am glad you have found an outlet for your needs. May God see you and shine on you and protect you in the name of our savior.
