Hi Senior
We may be on to something here. I find however, no scripture for the "seed of faith" idea. If I've overlooked a scripture perhaps you can supply it.
I do think you are being unkind to Ezra.
God bless
TO BE DEEP IN SCRIPTURE IS TO CEASE BEING CATHOLIC, PROTESTANT, JEW AND CALVINIST
Hello Walpole---YES, I did read the link. It the essence of wishful thinking. The link reminds me of Peter in II Pet.3 who wrote of Paul's writings: "---they that are unlearned and unstable wrest , as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction" vs.16.

Sorry Walpole, Gal.1:19 most definitely proves Jesus had a brother. Language could not be clearer. Gal.1:19 in no way "validates the Catholic position"
Galatians 1:19: "But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother."

I'm not trying to be mean etc. but rather blunt and to the point. You wrote considerable about purgatory but no reference to it in scripture. Yes some scriptures were cited but had no relation to the subject. For a doctrine so cardinal to your faith one would assume you could present...
Where did Robert Southwell find that in the scripture? And BTW, there are no saints yet in heaven, if they are, scripture please.

John 15:16 was to those chosen to be Jesus' apostles. I didn't know you were an apostle!

Hi Senior
I don't think you "got it". Rom.10:16 ''BUT THEY HAVE NOT ALL OBEYED THE GOSPEL---" The gospel is something to believed (Mk.16:15,16 and something which can and must be obeyed, IIThess.1:8). Have you obeyed the gospel?? If so, how did you do it?
How about my suggestion that we study...
