    Any Poker fans?

Love Texas Hold 'em. Can't stand on-line play...it seems everyone goes all-in every other hand. Now when there are real stakes it's a lot more fun. At family get-to-gethers my mother-in-law will buy gift cards for like $50. Then the winner gets the gift card and no one is out their own money...

Benny Hinn: Let the Bodies Hit the Floor

It's a problem when you claim to be raising money to build a $30 million hospital in Mexico and it never gets built when the $30 mil is raised.

    For Christians

I totally agree... except in the baptism part. Now don't get me wrong I am in no way against baptism, I was baptized (by immersion) at the baptist church I grew up in. I believe the way to become a Christian is...to have faith in Christ, that He died for my sins and was resurrected from death...

    Presuppositional Apologetics

Very good point. I agree that all people are "close minded" on certain issues.

    For Christians

This topic keeps coming up in different threads I'm following...so I thought I would make a new thread and ask the questions: How do you know you're a Christian? How do you become a Christian? How do you stop being a Christian? Feel Free to take a stab at 1, 2 or all 3 questions. I know...

Bible Study Women in the church

Pogo, I believe on becomes a Christian by the following...let me break it down... 1.) Acknowledge I am a sinner in need of a Savior - thus repenting and turning away from sin. 2.) I believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised Jesus from the dead - I trust that Jesus paid...

Bible Study Women in the church

WOW, that's a bold statement. Can I ask a question? In your view...how does one gain salvation? Or this question...how does one come to know they will spend eternity in heaven with God?

    Baby Names

Most Americans of child bearing age will not probably use the name Xenia. There was a TV show here called "Xenia Warrior Princess". It was somewhat popular but very often made fun of. So when people see the name Xenia they probably think of that show not how neat the name is.

GO WITH JOSHUA!!! :D Boy or girl JOSHUA is the name!! ;) :D Combine the two and go with Joshua Michael. Funny (or strange) but true...mine and my brother-in-law first two names are Joshua Michael, different last names of course.
