God didn't care about me - I'm no more Christian

That's a perfectly reasonable answer, that we have unforgiveness in our hearts, its just not the only one, that's all I was saying really. Anytime this comes up, the line from Angels & Demons comes to mind; "God answers all prayers but sometimes, the answer is no"

God didn't care about me - I'm no more Christian

Edward That's 1 possible answer but I don't think you can universally apply to everyone and say "that's why" The answer could be because God is saying "not yet" but I don't know since I'm not God.

    Evidence 2 Hope

New content now available including videos by John Lennox on Genesis, Ravi Zacharias on tolerance and the 2011 Reasonable Faith Tour. More blogs are up covering a variety of topics, more recommended websites and articles. Working on some additional things and have a project in mind but more on...

God didn't care about me - I'm no more Christian

I've had a friend ask me this very question. It's a hard one to answer because we simply don't know. I can fully understand why it causes people to lose faith but it does raise questions as to how they think God should act.

Violence in video games - canvassing opinion

I'm going to be writing a blog that will cover, among other things, violence in video games. I know that many play video games and I would like your opinion on the issue. Do you think the age ratings for games should be raised (so what's currently a PEGI 16 becomes an 18) or should the...

    What is religious freedom?

I'm hearing this phrase being used a lot lately and I'm a little confused. There doesn't seem to be any concrete definition as to what it means and looks like. In the U.S it appears to come from the constitution but religion isn't the only thing listed and I don't see Jesus calling for us to...

[_ Old Earth _] The Reliability of the Whole Bible Depends on Genesis as History

God isn't a liar if he's not trying to teach science. I like the analogy of a mother telling a child that she has a baby growing in her tummy. It's not accurate or true but it gets the point across

Is God the Cause of sin and evil in the world ?

Easy to say when you believe you're one of those chosen to be saved. The rest of us are just unlucky then.

    Separation From the World

I've never really been seperate from the world. I've often felt like I'm straddling both sides (Christianity and the world) in both but fully part of neither. Took me a long time to come to terms with that then realised that I'm all in Jesus :)

How do you think outsiders view us?

I think this is a good thing. I think the church and Christianity was at its best when it had no political power

How is free-will justified with an all-knowing God?

You're welcome :) I'm asking similar questions myself and I've found Keith Ward very interesting

Why is it our prayers are not always answered?

    Evolution Is Religion--Not Science

Wouldn't naturalism be atheistic? It doesn't just not comment, it excludes it by its very definition and name.

I agree but we all have to start somewhere. Some people can take big leaps others not so much and God uses all of us

Completely agree with the bit in bold, I think a lot of people are in that situation and its something I'm learning to avoid and help others avoid. Figuring things out on your own is great, especially when you have a starting point. Keep doing what you're doing, if its working for you then that...

    An outsider's Understanding of Christianity.

I can relate to this. There a couple of people extremely helpful and instrumental in me coming to Christ and they all moved away for various reasons. I saw my support network collapse and felt so alone. I've built up another one but learned to rely on God for things more and stand on my own 2...
