It seems to me Christians distinguish between good fantasy (like Narnia) and bad fantasy (Harry Potter). Ones is considered a metaphor of the Christian world view, the other one seduces kids to perform witchcraft.
That makes no sense.
Sunny and warm enough to sit outside for work. Leaves keep falling on my keyboard and into my coffee, and the wifi connection is horrible, but at least I get fresh air and sunlight.
I want my outdoor job back. :-( Anyone have any idea what areas of work require you to be outside almost all of...
All planets in our solar system were named after pagan Gods, most of the other planets' moons, and other stuff out there big enough to be named is named of ancient mythology figures. Does that really bother you?
Btw, Pluto was removed from the list of planets 8 years ago. Welcome to 2006. :D
I'm a universitiy student again!! Yay!!
My major is Psychology, I dropped out for metal health reasons (darn those stereotypes) some years ago and didn't know what to do with my life since, and now I actually got a chance to finish my degree.

...or the author of that article messed something up.
According to Einstein, movement is relative and only exists in relation to a reference point or reference system. So it's basically right to say the earth doesn't move if the earth is our point of reference. In that case the sun would rotate around us, along with the rest of the solar system...
Actually I would want my partner to tell the truth. He may be a little more diplomatic about it though. ;-)
Well I get the joke about wifes being unwilling to hear the truth to a question they asked. But in reality the husband would risk that his wife makes a fool out if herself wearing...

Actually yes it does.
Both the Theory of Evolution and the Big Bang Theory make predictions that are testable. For example if life forms evolved the way they are assumed to, you would expect to find similarities in organs, bone structures, genetics and so on. And that's a hypothesis you can...
