In verse 25 of 2 Kings 17, we read that God sent the lions to devour the people.
It then says
"the god... has sent lions among them"
I have a question - did the lions have any special significance - i.e are they linked to Assyrian gods in any way?
What lead them to believe that it was the gods!
I was in a communion service in a independent evangelical church, and was surprised to here the following:-
