Does Sunday morning church need all the showmanship and gimmicks?

NO,it doesn't need all the showmanship and gimmicks. What it does need is the presence of Holy Spirit. It needs a sermon that gets to a Bible centered point of action or thought. The sermon delivered in a timely manner by a person who is passionate about what GOD wants to say through HIS WORD...

YOUNGER LIVES INTO AN AGED CHURCH CONGREGATION

To reach a younger crowd does the message have to be "watered down" or can it just delivered in a different way? Also I guess...could you define "watered down"? Is that about content or style? It just seems a shame to see small church building after small church building being turned into a...

I would like to say that I think that it was awesome how God bragged on Job and how at the end He gave back everything that was taken and then some. I also think it was awesome how God decided to actually speak with Job (even though He did not answer any of his questions). I think that Job was...

Bible Study BOOK OF JOB central theme

Just finished JOB...Why do you suppose in chapters 38 thru 40 that GOD does not answer any of Job's questions , comfort him in his suffering (although just talking to GOD seems to be a comfort to him), let him in on the conversation with Satan but instead questions him?
