1 John 2:18-25
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that [a]it would be shown that they all are not of us. 20 [b]But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and [c]because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the [d]Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

These are my thoughts please share yours.
18 All in all times believed they were living in the last days but, the truth is the end could come at any time. AntiChrist is anyone that stand against Christ and the truth of the word. There are alot of false teachers since the time of Jesus but there will one that stands apart from these.
19 The true treats to the church are those in the church. False teachers always teach some truth but they also spread lies and when the lies are exposed they move on and form their own faith disguised as truth.
20 We as believers have the word and the Spirit to allow us to see the truth through all the lies of the world.
21 The truth is 100% true and it is the word. People who have the truth may be mispoken or misquote or say the wrong word, this is why we rely on the scriptures which is the truth, without human error. We also are to judge if someone preaches the truth by the word of the scriptures.
22 One would think if someoone did not believe Jesus is Christ or Messiah they would not be calling themselves Christians but people tried to destroy the church from the inside. All who truly believe accept the teaching of the Son and the Father there may be small differences and the teaching of groups of believers though. All believers believe the Father had the Son be a sacrifice for the world.
23 We can not truly serve the Father if we don't have the Son. Without the Son we don't have a relationship with the Father because our sins would be in the way. If we have the Son we have a relationship with the Father as well this is why the Lord wants us to accept the Son for the restored relationship with the Father.
24 The Word and the Spirit will abide in us when we come to the Father thru the Son.
25 Enternal life is a gift only given by the Father thru the Son by faith not by anything we can do but by what the Jesus did on the cross for all.
