No, I do not go to youth group any more (I left about a month ago so 4 weeks) but I heard that the current leader is leaving and I am upset. I'm more upset at the way things are being run because when I started going there it was a guy named Greg and he was really nice then he left and Pat came in. Pat has been around for about 2 years and now he's leaving. Is this normal? Do youth leaders stay for like 2 years then just leave? I'm more upset for the kids in Pat's small group who got close to him and now they're going to have to get close to someone else. :nono2 That's not right.

Ministry for Youth can be rough. God does indeed call people away that quickly. I know one guy was a Missionary, and knew he was called to missions, but he also knew that while he was force to coem stateside to recover from health issues, he should plug in and serve. God has his reasons, and we need to trust them, even if they aren't always the happiest.

God has plans for each of those kids, it's heartbreaking. I know firsthand, but hopefully God has better plans then they could think of. They have my prayers.

Well, what did Roman's 8 tell us. God will work everything for the good of those who love him. Even if this is hard for the youthgroup, God will make it beneift those who are truly loving him. Jman is right on!
