How wonderful You are, O God! With each waking moment, I am in awe of all You have created. I love the way You present Your Word to me; it’s always perfect, because You alone know my heart, my joys and my concerns.

This morning You turned the pages of Scripture to Psalm 92 for my prayerful pleasure. The words reflected the awe I hold for Your infinite mercy. And it is a timely instruction, a gentle reminder that any who seek to enslave or destroy Your sons and daughters through their perfidy will not share eternity with You.

"5 How great Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep.
6 A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:
7 That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished,
It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.
8 But You, O Lord, are on high forever.
9 For, behold, Your enemies, O Lord, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered.” (Psalm 92: 5-9)

Lord God, through Your blessings of each day, Your sons and daughters will no longer step aside when pushed, and meekly consent to live in a world where Christianity, Your Word, and Your love are marginalized or ridiculed as unjust or ‘fairy tale.’

Instead, I pray that we stand firmly with You, O Lord, with Your gifts, Your promises, and Your mercy. Whether in single steps or lengthy leaps, Your faithful will make the difference through influence and love, and bring others to You. The ministries of both the individual and the church will prayerfully alter the sinful decline, so those in positions of decision making will understand and know the right and correct path, according to Your Word.

To You, O God, I sing praises of thanksgiving, for You have shared Your amazing grace and love with us. Although we are sinners, You have forgiven us and provided us with salvation through Your beloved Son. And it is in His name, the precious name of Jesus Christ, that I pray this simple prayer to You this day. Amen.

Day 11 -

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Felicitations, O Lord! For this wondrous day with which You have gifted us, I thank You, and I praise You for so deeply loving us. Even when we stumble in our walk, You return us to our feet. You never abandon us, not in our time of need or in our joys. Halleluiah, Lord!

You know the challenges that face Your sons and daughters in this age. As with all who have walked before us, there are many who are against us. There are elected officials and some who seek office who would prefer to remove You from our midst. This day, I pray for Your protection to provide us strength as we remain focused on You and Your Word. Bless us with the ability to wisely share Your scriptures with others; to advance the waiting salvation to those who question and seek; to bring the decision makers of this nation to within Your family.

As is written in Jude:

17 But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,18 that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.”19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting; 23 save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

Retain us in Your loving sight, O Lord, as we daily seek You. Use us as examples to illuminate Your righteousness and truth. Keep us within Your protective embrace as we strive to do Your work. Bless us, Lord God, in accordance with Your will.

For as Jude concludes: “24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.”

I pray these simple words in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Halleluiah, Lord!

Day 12 –

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Thank you for this day, my Lord; You’ve brought joy into the hearts of so many!

Walking with You, everything is possible, including the daily effort to do as You have instructed. And I thank You for the gentle reminder of Your Son’s words to the apostles after He rose anew:

“18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18-20)

This instruction was a great commission for us, O God. To reach out to our neighbors and those with whom we come in contact; to encourage their hearts to feel Your amazing love; to persuade their ears to hear Your word. Hearten their eyes to recognize Your sons and daughters, with whom they may learn to fellowship in order to develop their own personal walk with You.

I pray that You continue to guide us as we proceed with this important commission. Bless and protect each of us as we spread the wonderful word of You. Strengthen our resolve to stay the course, regardless of how long the process may be with any one individual. And, Lord, I pray that our smiles, our confidence and contentment in You, will communicate heart to heart with those who have yet to join Your family.

I pray this to You, O God, in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 13 –

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Today, O Lord, You chose a different direction for the prayers for this day. And I praise You for Your guidance in this matter. You have blessed me with Your love, and are solely responsible for the opportunities You presented me today. It has been another wonderful day, and You made it possible!

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Coming down upon the beard,
Even Aaron’s beard,
Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon
Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.” (Psalm 133)

Three sentences. That’s it. Three sentences that demonstrate how marvelous it is when God’s sons and daughter come together in harmony and peace. Whether it is in the midst of a church, or here at CFnet, we sisters and brothers join together because of our love and faithfulness to our Lord God. We share in discussion our Lord’s Word, His instructions for living this life.

And just like biological brothers and sisters, we may not always see eye to eye for whatever reason. However, when one of us is in need of prayer, all we have to do is ask, and we unite in Christian support. We continue to attend church, Bible study, or we meet here, because we have known since early in our walk with our Lord, that we need to be in association with other Christians.

And we know, when we lift up our voices in prayerful solidarity, our Lord God listens to us and is with us. “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” (Matthew 18:20) When we are united, our blessings are enhanced. There is so much power in our prayers when we join together in peace and unity.

My prayer is for my brothers and sisters; that we may become a harmonious family who will reflect the joy we hold in our hearts because of our love for You, O Lord. Strengthen us in our resolve to continue growing in our knowledge of You. Guide the mature-in-their-walk brothers and sisters to assist those younger-in-their-walk. Through Your love, draw us closer together so as we speak in one voice, our hearts will stand in unity as well.

I thank and praise You, Lord God, for all You do and all You will do, according to Your will. I pray this in the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 14 –

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Yes, may we love the name of the Lord Jesus that unites those who have been redeemed because He shed His precious blood at the Cross.

Many times have You listened, O Lord, as I’ve knelt before You in prayer. Whether in joyful praise or solemn concern, You have always assured me. Your faithfulness never wavers.

“If the LORD had not been my help, my soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. 18 If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your loving kindness, O LORD, will hold me up. 19 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.” (Psalm 94: 17-19)

Today I renew my prayers for those hired to work for us in government, my Lord God. And because You continue comfort me when the elected – and non-elected - officials have made decisions that are in opposition to Your Word, I pray You will not abandon me at this time as well. Hear my words, O Lord, and provide Your strength to me and to all Your sons and daughters, so we can stand firmly against those who work against You, and, by association, us.

“20 Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, one which devises mischief by decree? 21 They band themselves together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. 22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. 23 He has brought back their wickedness upon them and will destroy them in their evil; The LORD our God will destroy them.” (Psalm 94: 20-23)

In the meanwhile, O Lord, I pray You hear my prayer for all those in government who do not walk with You. May Your bountiful mercies entice them to You. May You bless our prayerful efforts to share our love for You with them, so they will choose You and Your way.

This is my prayer for this day, in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. To You all praise and glory and honor are given, Lord God, now and forever. Amen.

Day 15 –

(All Scripture references: NASB)

You are such a wonder in my life, O Lord. I marvel at the infinite vastness of Your love and inspiration. Even this day, as I prayed for Your guidance, You touched my heart anew with the following, and You determined this prayer to be the reminder for us all:

(1) * Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found. Was blind but now I see.

(2) In evil long I took delight, un-awed by shame or fear; ‘Till a new object met my sight, and stopped my wild career.

(3) I saw one hanging on a tree, In agonies and blood; Who fixed his languid eyes on me, as near his cross I stood.

(4) Sure, ne'er until my latest breath, Can I forget that look; it seemed to change me with his death,
though not a word He spoke.

(5) My conscience felt and owned the guilt, and plunged me in despair; I saw my sins HIS BLOOD HAD SHED, and helped to nail Him there.

(6) Alas, I knew not what I did, but all my tears were vain; where could my trembling soul be hid, for I the LORD had slain.

(7) A second look He gave that said: "I freely all forgive"! This blood is for my ransom paid, "I died that thou mayest live."

(8) * ‘Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, and Grace my fears relieved; how precious did that Grace appear, the hour I first believed.

(9) * Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ‘tis Grace hath bro't me safe thus far, and Grace will lead me home.

(10)* The LORD has promised good to me, His word my hope secures; His will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures.

(11) Yes! When this flesh and heart shall fail, and mortal life shall cease, I shall possess within the veil, a life of joy and peace.

(12) The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine; but GOD who called me here below, shall be forever mine.

(13)* When we've been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun; we've no less days to sing GOD'S praise, than when we first begun!

Aye, Lord God, the amazing and inspiring words to “Amazing Grace.†These humbling yet exhilarating words describe how each of us, Your sons and daughters, were and how we are now. Still maturing in our walk with You … still seeking to be stronger in our ability to continue with the great commission You assigned to us.

I pray for each of us gathered together here at CFnet, and for all with whom each of us will be in contact in the coming days. I humbly request that Your joy within our hearts will reflect You truth and Your way, and that those who seek You will be intrigued by Your light which shines within us. Your love is amazing, O Lord. And it is Your mercy, forgiveness and grace that saves all who turn to You. I am also most thankful for Your guidance and inspiration. Without You, I am nothing.

This is my prayer for today, in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. To You, all praise and glory and honor are given, Lord God, now and forever. Amen.

Day 16 –

“Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 24 For,love one another from the heart, 23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. (24) For,

"all flesh is like grass,
And all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers,
And the flower falls off,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” (1 Peter 1: 22-25)

Because Your Word lasts forever, O Lord, I pray You guide us in Your ways, that we may be proper stewards for Your heavenly kingdom. Commit us to further Your work, that through our humble efforts, we are able to illuminate Your light upon this world. Direct our movements, so we do not cause any one to stumble. Strengthen our love for You, and, through You, all our brothers and sisters in Christ, Your Son. Grant to us the knowledge and the abilities to share Your love with those who do not recognize Your faithfulness.

Bless our earthly ministries and the works of our hands. Temper us so we are able to provide support when one amongst us encounters challenges. Rebuke us should we knowingly stray from the path that leads to You; forgive us when we confess our failings. And keep our focus on Your love, so we may continue to give brotherly love to those around us.

You know what we daily face, O Lord. I praise and thank You, for the joys and the sorrows alike, for You provide all that is needed in this earthly life.
I pray this in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. To You, all praise and glory and honor are given, Lord God, for Your Word endures now and forever. Amen.

Day 17 –

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Yes, ministry and activities that are based on the Word are what will stand the test of time! 'Lord, Thy Word abideth'.

"Why are the nations in an uprorar and the peoples devising a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!” (Psalm 2:1-3)

O Lord, some of the elected officials and some of those who seek office have determined to separate us and our country from You and Your Word. They scoff at Your righteousness and wisdom, and reference Your sons and daughters in harsh and degrading rhetoric.

Today, I pray for the elected officials and those who seek office. May their hearts be touched and their eyes opened to the reality that You are everything perfect, and that Your Word is the guideline for wise governance. Make them aware that the direction some have chosen leads nowhere but to disaster. As those in Washington hear the prayers each morning when in session, have those words be absorbed into their consciousness, to influence their decisions, according to Your will.

"4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. 5 Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, 6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain."

7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. 8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. 9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth. 11 Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling. 12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!” (Psalm 2:4-12)

I pray for Your continued guidance, for Your sons and daughters, and for all elected officials and those who seek election. For through You is the promise of salvation; without You, we are nothing. I pray this in the name of Your precious Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 18 -

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Dear Father, please continue to protect this present dwelling place of Your people against destruction, and from all forms of evil brought against us. Help us to be a standard of righteousness presented for all to witness as we are about following You in our walk with Christ. I thank You Father for Your love of us, and for hearing me this day in Jesus' name. Amen.

O Lord, You know my heart’s concerns. Two men, who seek the highest office in my land, debated some important issues this evening. In less than a month from now, one of these two men will be elected to an office from which life-affecting decisions are made.

Daily, people are casting their ballots for one of these men. Lord God, I pray for Your continued guidance of each of us as we vote, keep our eyes focused on Your Word, and protect us from harm as we own our responsibilities to vote.

I praise You, Lord, for You always provide scripture that answers my prayers! As Psalm 20: 6-9 states:

"6) Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. 7 Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God. 8 They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. 9 Save, O Lord; may the King answer us in the day we call.”

I take my comfort in You, for Your enduring love never ceases. You grant my heart’s desire, according to Your will, and fulfill all my counsel. (Psalm 20:4) I am nothing without You; I wish never to be parted from You.

And I thank You for listening to my concerns about this upcoming election. I praise You for Your assurances that all will be done according to Your will. Your protection and strength, You share with us, Your sons and daughters, during these challenging days.

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14) I pray this in the name of Your precious Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 19 -

(All Scripture references: NASB)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1: 3-5)

Your pure love gives us confidence because Your Word promises that You will not leave us. Whatever we do, wherever we go, You are with us, O Lord. At this time, I pray for Your discernment for us, that we may further do Your work, according to Your will. May we always teach Your truth, and may we always be with Your word so we do not lead any astray.

There are many in our congregations, including church leadership, who promote teachings that are against Scripture. Of these people, Your Word has warned as wolves in sheep’s clothing. Their agenda is not focused on You and the continuing maturity of Your sons and daughters, Lord God. Instead, they seek earthly rewards for themselves.

I pray that You strengthen our resolve to further Your work. And be with us when we discern error in others, that we may offer correction in the same faithful and loving way through which You correct us when we err. Bless our efforts as we strive to return others to a solid walk with You.

Grant us the fortitude to do as admonished in 2 Timothy 4:1-5:
“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

The eyes of Your sons and daughters are on You, Lord God. We seek to accomplish all You have set our courses to achieve. I pray that we remain strong against temptations, and that we turn from any attempt to entice us away from You. Bless those in positions of leadership in our congregations so they will faithfully teach Your Word and not cause any to stray. If any leader fails in the commission of his position, grant us the discernment to remove from our midst any who will not repent and return to Your family.

I joyfully praise Your perpetual love and amazing grace that You give to us. Thank You for hearing my humble prayer, which I pray in the name of Your precious Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Day 20 -

(All Scripture references: NASB)

I sing praises of thanksgiving to You, O Lord, for You share Your amazing grace and faithful love with us. You alone are constant. And although we are sinners, You forgive us and provide us with salvation through Your beloved Son.

Your perfect guidance continues with prayers for our church leadership and for us, and I give my joyful appreciation for Your Word! Your inspired Scripture outlines how we are to live our lives, as well as instructs how we are to provide correction to any church leader or brother who turn from You.

2 Thessalonians 3: 6-15 teaches:

6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother who leads an unruly life and not according to the tradition which you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; 9 not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you, so that you would follow our example. 10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. 11 For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies. 12 Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to work in quiet fashion and eat their own bread. 13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good.

14 If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame. 15 Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

You, O Lord, strengthen and protect us as we strive to do Your commission. You give us, Your sons and daughters, the words to reach others, whether to share Your Word so they will come to know You, or in correction, so they will return to You. And may you keep us in Your abiding love and steadfastness, O Lord.

I humbly pray this in the name of Your precious Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
