The hating of any list is never bad. There is a list, prominently displayed in DC that I donated to but I have never wished to see. Replicas of it traverse this nation and I have made no effort to see that list either. My issue is not with any list or lists, it is rather the stupidity with which any list is used.
I place lists in the same dimension as rote memory. I was instructed, in my first 3 years of school, in the use of rote memory. I was taught to use it for one purpose and that purpose was to memorize the Times Table, one through twelve. That list is essential to success in most industries today.
But lists, other than the Times Table are twisted this way and that way until they are worthless. There are a couple or more members here that worship lists to the point that without their holy lists, they can no longer reason without their lists or the writer of the lists to tell them what to think.
Education in the US, today, is the force of and for the dumbing down of the population and it is dangerous! Beginning with sounding words out, I was taught how to learn all the different information I might need to access during my life.
Public Education is not, today because of lists.

Why hello W, I hope your ok.
The fog ain't lifting so I showed the post to my 17 year old daughter. She laughed and she laughed and explained it to me. Now the fog has lifted.
