Satan's strategy in your life and mine: He aims to be such a wonderful counterfeit that he leads you astray. He wants to take you left when you ought to go right...to make you miserable when you ought to be happy...to make you defeated when you ought to be victorious.

Satan's deception is so powerful that, according to the book of Revelation, he will deceive all the nations of the world. So he is not to be taken lightly! Satan has turned deception into an art form.

Satan wants to deflect you from the will of God and interrupt God getting the glory. He wants to keep you ineffective. Satan will even twist things so you'll blame God for things that are his fault.

Satan is the master deceiver and cannot stand objective truth. He does not want you to believe something simply because God said it. He'll do anything to deceive you and I. Defend yourself against his lies.

The sword was purchased by a spike in the wrist. (Have we daily crucified our flesh that we might handle it).
The shield was purchased by another nail pierced hand.
The helmet was purchased with a crown of thorns.
The breastplate was purchased with a spear in his side
The belt was purchased with his naked body
The gospel boots were purchased with nail / nails

His pierced kidneys purchased our healing etc.

Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord and He alone will defeat the enemy.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

SPIRIT OF LEVIATHAN / PRIDE
Job 41 is the key passage on leviathan. Most of the people who have this powerful spirit never get deliverance because one of his chief jobs is to block deliverance.

Job 41:8 says that when we lay our hands on leviathan we will remember the battle and will not do it again.

Job 41:15 states that the scales of leviathan are his pride and are shut up together with a close seal. One is so near to another that no air can come between them. In the scripture, air, breath and wind are synomymous with the Holy Spirit.

The reason people get so shut in is because of the effects of leviathan's tight coils around them, inhibiting the moving of the Spirit. They cannot hear or discern the Spirit and they say they never get a word from the Lord or move in the gifts. The reason is that no air of the Spirit is able to get in because this demon has such a strangle hold. The scales are joined one to another and cannot be sundered.

Another way of stating this is that he looks down on all who are haughty; he is a king over all those who are proud. Pride and leviathan are practically synonymous. It is hard to separate them because pride causes that stony heart to close the scales and folds together blocking the Spirit of God from entering. Some sit listening, but not understanding or hearing the Word of God. Leviathan's most crucial work is in the area of keeping people from receiving the things of God and of the Spirit.

You may say you have no pride but rebellious pride often hides. Leviathan is sneaky and subtle and can easily hide himself. He can twist, writhe and slip out of the way; causing one to reject dependence on God and subjection to God. He is quick to attribute to self the honor due to God, therefore this pride is the very root and essence of all sin.

You done pretty good. Not a battle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces in high places.

Who shall deliver us from our body of flesh? Jesus Christ.

If we are born again it is much easier to defend against the wiles of the Devil, If we fellowship with our Father daily, Satan can not deceive you at all. Most of the deceiving comes to those who think they are above being deceived (pride). The full victory over being deceived is dying to self....are we dead yet?

A slave to Christ is a freeman (1 Corinthians 7:22). Lord Jesus Christ must own you!

The only way to God is through Jesus Christ (John 14:6)...the only way to Jesus Christ is by the Means of the Cross (Luke 14:27). The only way to the Cross is a denial of self (Luke 9:23).

Paul said, "I die daily!" 1 Corinthians 15:31

I believe that God is sovereign, that as long as we rely on God, we can overcome Satan.
As the following passage said
“Regardless of how “powerful” Satan is, regardless of how audacious and ambitious it is, regardless of how great is its ability to inflict damage, regardless of how wide-ranging are the techniques with which it corrupts and lures man, regardless of how clever are the tricks and schemes with which it intimidates man, regardless of how changeable is the form in which it exists, it has never been able to create a single living thing, has never been able to set down laws or rules for the existence of all things, and has never been able to rule and control any object, whether animate or inanimate. Throughout the vast expanse of the universe, there is not a single person or object that was born from it, or exists because of it; there is not a single person or object that is ruled by it, or controlled by it. On the contrary, it not only has to live under the dominion of God, but, moreover, must obey all of God’s orders and commands. Without God’s permission, it is difficult for Satan to touch even a drop of water or grain of sand upon the land; without God’s permission, Satan is not even free to move the ants about upon the land—let alone mankind, who was created by God. ”

God reveals Himself to His people. If another man has to write a book to teach you about God, then you will never know Him. God reveals Himself to His own through the Scriptures alone. Everything we need to know about our Lord (though it may be progressive) is revealed to us through the Son. "Seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be given unto you" "for we are not ashamed of the gospel of God. For unto us it is the power of God unto Salvation". Christ is in all the Scriptures from beginning to end. He created all things, there is nothing made that was not made by Christ, and all things were created by Him. And to the extant that He has revealed and manifested all things to the Church, The wisdom of God. Christ is our wisdom...Really!

I do not want to take away from the zeal you have to exhort the church. But it is imperative that we do not run ahead of the Lord, or in our zeal present things that are weak or are teachings of men that are in error or take away the Truth and exhortation that is given in the Scripture by self willed teachers. The proof or calling of an evangelist is not in how many books he writes, or how many are gathered around him or even the flattery he receives from a multitude of followers. It is not by our power or might or zeal, but by my Spirit sayeth the Lord. While zeal for the work of God is commendable, Without the Spirit (born again believer) we are spinning our wheels. The Bible is a Spiritual Book.

In Christ
Douglas Summers BTW, everything I posted is Scriptural. This would be a good Bible study to look up and search the Scriptures to see if they are true.

Hello Douglas,
You can fellowship with the Father daily and yet satan can still get in there. Learning how your enemy operates and the key ways he has to get into some ones life is crucial.
What in your mind do you think deceiving from the devil is ?
God Bless

Mark 4:14-20
14) The Farmer plants seed by taking God's Word to others. 15)The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have satan come at once and take it away. 16) The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with Joy. 17) But since they don't have deep roots, they don't last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God's Word. 18) The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God's Word, 19) but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced. 20) and the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God's Word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted.

There are 7 ways for the Word of God to be unfruitful. The first 2 are self inflicted and the last 5 are from the devil.

1) Is being a wayside hearer. Meaning that as your pastor or even God through His Word, sows or preaches the Word....you choose that you don't want to hear it. In Matthew 13:15, it says that those people have chosen to close their ears and eyes.

2) Is being a person who has no root. In Luke 8:6 it says that other seed fell on the rocks...it began to grow, but it soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. So the person who received the Word of God, didn't do what was necessary to water the Word (by studying and meditating) (josh 1:8) to make sure that what was planted in their spirits would take root. Meaning the person would become settled in it and can live it.

3) #1 that the devil uses to steal the Word) Is afflictions through test and trials or pressure in circumstances. Vs. 17...kjv affliction that arises for the Words sake. But if we walk according to James 1...having Joy in all tests and trials.

4) Is persecution for the Words sake. This is pressure through people. Meaning that the devil sends people in your path to try to offend you or irritate you....trying to get you to not walk in Love and forgiveness, but in strife with others. James 3:16 says that where envy and strife is there is every evil work. Meaning as soon as you become offended or irritated by someone you open the door to the devil taking a shot at you that he didn't have coming to him. And you open the door to forgetting the Word that you just learned because you are concentrating on who upset you in stead of what you just heard. The devil tries to do this before you get the Word to deep so that it's easier for him to steal it.

5) Is cares of this world. Or distractions (watching to much tv or ungodly movies or whatever worldly things are more important than God) The answer to this is Colossians 3:1.....which is setting your affections and attentions on things above

6) Deceitfulness of riches. Meaning your seeking after money and not God. The answer to this is Matthew 6:33....Seek first the Kingdom of God.

7) is the Lust of the flesh. The lust for the reaction of your flesh. Which includes emotions or anger or what have you. The answer to this is to walk in the spirit as in Galatians 5:16.

The good ground person is one who is meditating in the Word.....memorizing scripture.....spending much time in the Word of God and teachings from their pastor. Making sure that the Word of God is well watered in their spirits. This also comes from speaking the Word of God out loud, aligning your words with the Word. For Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
