Religious equality

As a Christian, Are you for or against religious equality: freedom to exist (even when the other religious groups are not the physically violent type)?

Christians, Muslims, Buhdists etc

what does the bible say about this? See the OT.

Matthew 15
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Exodus 34
12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;

I think he means the first amendment as in the right to worship.

I know how you feel about islam but well the first amendment is good thing. god didn't say and go and at gun point make me a disciple, or by law which in essence is the same thing.

He's not asking about the 1st amendment.

He's asking "what does the bible say about religious equality".

Since all Religion "is" equal I have absolutely no issue no issue with the second amendment. Even the religion, Christianity will send one to Eternal Hell. Since all religions worship dead Idols, I can find no difference. On the flip side, dropping religion, there is a relationship with God that does result in total forgiveness that is also known as Christianity.

This group of radical believers are indwelt with, or by, the Holy Spirit of the Almighty Creator, God. We are no better than the religious nuts when we get down to basics because every one of us has sinned and will fail and sin again, no matter how much we try.

ok, the reason I say that he Is thinking of the bill of rights. is because of the other thread. you know classik ,

per the first post.

As a Christian, Are you for or against religious equality: freedom to exist (even when the other religious groups are not the physically violent type)?

surely aren't for the killing of the witches, idolaters, and fornicators and so forth. he also said per the ot.

I make no assumptions. :nono

I work with what I'm given.

Indeed I do. :lol

Given enough time, he'll drift from the OP to something soccer related.

.
context. not assumptions.
right to exist. does god in the bible say to go and force men to cease being a sinner. see revalation 22 for that answer.

let him who is clean be clean, let him who is unclean be unclean

I know what you are saying that only Jesus is the way, but I really do think classik is asking about religious freedom. not whether or not there are many ways to god. Buddhist, and muslims do kill Christians.

context. not assumptions.

Yes, context. Nowhere in the OP does he mention the "First Amendment". You're assuming he's referring to a previous thread. The OP makes no mention of a previous thread.

He specifically mentions "the bible" and "the OT".

As I said, I can only work with what I'm given. All I'm given in this case is the OP.

The context of the OP is, "What does the bible, specifically the OT, say about religious equality?"

Christianity is the one true religion which has a relationship with the God of the Holy Bible.
Kathi,
I'm sorry but there is no true religion and all religions will send their worshipers to Hell. Jesus/God did not come and pay the price to establish a new religion, He came, seeking the same relationship we read of in Genesis when God walked with the first Adam in the cool of the day... relationship! The lack of that relationship is what will send 98% of the Church Membership to Hell. We have a core in our church that are very religious that is not saved and are bound for Hell. They attend Service religiously, they enjoy the Worship Service and the price they feel obligated to pay is their tithe and enduring the sermon and it makes them look so, very, good to the rest of the neighbors, you know, appearance is important to those that are not indwelt with the spirit of God.

The Christian Religion has no relationship with God. All relationships are on the personal level.

but well:

thou shall not SUFFER a witch to live. per the ot.

classic says do they have right to exist?

NO then they don't. we must kill them.

If we would obey instead of reasoning ourselves into Hell the Homosexuals would still be "in the closet."

and we wouldn't even know they needed to be saved.
I would be in the church of someone and still hiding. some times blatent sin is good as we do know how evil man is in plain sight. if I posted the links of how good it was in my town from the 50-60's era , the fact that blacks were beaten by cops and drug out of town and all those churches shown also didn't allow blacks to worship there. one would assume that my town was most HOLY, god would say its not.

do I like sin in the open? no but well im a libertarian. its not a perfect postion but the closest as possible to what I think we should allow.i will not vote for sin per se but man is lusting for something and refuses to say no. ok let him have at it. let him die if need be. let him suffer. cold? no god has done that to man for eons. if they want to repent the room is there at the cross.

even before the dadt was removed the army hardly a bastion of morality. an officer could commit adultery and get away with then and only those on the political crap list would ever be punished as it remains today. I thought I would see an officer die for playing with the platoon whore and he got away with and even married her after they both divorced. the army knew he did it and had evidence of the video of the act of sex and did nothing.
