Praying for you brother. You just continue doing what you're doing, keep the faith, and know that Jesus is with you in any fire you face. Also remember to honor those God put over you such as your Parole Officer.
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Rom 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Dan 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

It went surprisingly well. Its a first offense misdemeanor and I've been very well-behaved, so...I don't think I'm high on her priority list. 10+/- minutes, a little small talk, no big thing. I'm blessed. :)

What these brief sessions are establishing is a pattern which is followed by those reviewing your records. You are showing up for the appointments, doing what you're supposed to be doing, attending school, staying focused ... these are important points which you PO is notating.

You're growing in our Lord's Word ... you are blessed with His love, His grace, and His mercy!

Just keep focusing on Christ and the traits necessary for your growth in Him through the fruits of the Spirit.
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness 23. gentleness and SELF-CONTROL.
Gal 5:22-23

yeah.....self-control. That's clearly a big one for this guy...

My situation seems strange to me, but its probably not all that unusual. I was arrested on a minor misdemeanor, a serious felony was added, and I barely bonded out (my parents had a lawyer there at the bond hearing, so I did get bond). Shortly after returning home, it dawned on me to say The Sinner's Prayer and that yes, I really needed Jesus in my heart...it wasn't sufficient to just read about Him and say child-like prayers. So, I did...and I cried, it was great.

Anyway, part of the reason the felony was dropped was because of my progress, thanks to Christ. That and...well, honestly, I didn't commit the felony, but that doesn't matter in the legal system, especially when you're considered an "uppity mental patient." Good thing my dad hired a lawyer.
I was going to both a shrink and a counselor and the case was kept out of court for 1 year, so I had to time to grow and reflect a bit. The ex-shrink who pressed the charges clearly has never cared for me, but God has been changing me since I got saved. Anyway, the minor misdemeanor was dropped, the felony was dropped, and I pled guilty to a (serious) misdemeanor. The ex-shrink who pressed the charges requested the maximum, so I got a suspended sentence and 5 years probation. I've been doing well on probation and in general, so...yeah. I think I've been growing up, at long last, and that's important. Plus, Christ has been very, very, very good to me.

Its just...crazy...that's all.

While I am not in your position "Empowered" I believe Christ is putting you through a test to teach us "all" (Rom 8:28).What I find commendable on your side is that you have a strong Christian self -image as you "grow in Christ" as you say.You have also accepted responsibility for your actions and dealing with it.
"17.came to his senses 18. I have sinned against heaven and against you" Luke 15:17-18.

Try not to worry too much about what people think just remember you are a child of God made in His image regardless sins He says "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more"Heb 10:17 further "If you have the 'mind of Christ'I Cor 2:16 then you too must forgive - not condemn- yourself, and be willing to forget even
-yourself, and be willing to forget even yesterday's sins experiencing forgiveness is one of the greatest needs in the world today.A director of a mental hospital said in a university seminar that half of his patients could go home if they could know they were forgiven."

Remember " Everyone has turned away....there is no-one who does good, not even one"Ps.53:2-3 ...' all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.'Rom 3:23." (Josh Mc Dowell .His Image My Image 133)So just hang in their "tough guy" made in God's image.

Thanks for this.
I think I'm just now...I dunno...I would say "waking up" from everything, but that's not it. Maybe I'm just now standing on and living out that I'm a new creation in Christ Jesus. I'm getting better about not focusing on the past, that's for sure. And my anger is...dissipating. I keep praying that God will take the anger and un-forgiveness from me, and He's been coming through for me.

Thanks again for your post.
