John 3:5
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

How can a man be born of water?. Water does not give birth. Lol.

Reminds of that funny joker. How can a man be born twice from his mothers womb. Lol.

The New birth.

Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

1 Pet 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Since Monday (or Tuesday) I have been reading the Book of John 3.
There is a strict emphasis with the baptism thing: except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he CANNOT enter into the Kingdom of GOD.

Remember what happened when Peter thought it was wiser for him to baptize CHRIST instead? what was he told? John 13:8-9

The important thing being what water baptism represents--repentance. All this repenting and turning to God in the days of John the Baptist was not enough to see/enter the kingdom of God. You must also be born from above, by the Holy Spirit.

Wow. A christian who acturally goes precept upon precept, a little here and a little there, to get the true meaning of something in its correct context.

Someone didnt skip Isaiah 28:10

Rom 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (kjv)

We die with Christ in baptism and then are raised to new life (born again) just as He was raised to new life.
