A fresh new face . . . actually I need a face!

hi there,

i am new to this forum and wondering if anyone here can help me with how to get an icon to represent me -

I have checked out different forums and this one looked interesting so I thought I would give it a try,

I am a christian and would love to get to know others, share thoughts, grow together and challenge each other.

What I did for my icon was get a picture of my son, open it up in MS Paint, and reduce it to the limit of 80 x 80 pixels. Then, in the 'profile' link I followed the directions for the 'avatar'.

There is probably a better way to do it, but I'm not exactly a computer whiz like some of the others on this site.

Thank you so much wild at heart - did you get your user name idea from reading the book?
well, when I have more time I will have to try that way - I see the avatars now, not many to choose from so I will probably do as you suggested.
