In these last days (for me and my wife), I look forward to the comfort, fellowship and the positive outlook to the end of our journey here in this foreign land. Foreign, because of the principles and spirit which this world is ruled under are much different than the principles and Spirit of Rebirth in Christ Jesus (John 3:1-8) (2 Cor. 5:16-18). But instead of a peace and a common bond of the Holy brotherhood, There has been a quarrelsome and rebellious atmosphere over words and their meanings. And with all the corruption and evil we are surrounded by and displayed by the ruling class and so called religious and equal quality associations (NAACP; ACLU; Black Lives Matter; etc.) hypocrisy, The only place left for refuge is the brotherhood of believers, which seems to be distant and increasingly hard to find for our common faith in Christ.

I would suffer you to study and read Philippians 3:1-21 and 4:1-7. For this is where I'am at in my faith. I pray that we could fellowship and share the Joy, peace and comfort by our common faith in Christ.

Loneliness, When fellowship is needed. With my wife in the hospital, I come home to an empty house, noticing that there is no life here without my wife, just as there is no life without my savior. She is going to be alright, but it is a reality we will all have to face when that time comes...thus, the brotherhood.

Hi Doug, I don't see a prayer request in the prayer forum for your wife.
It is also a good forum to develop friendships.

I am praying for her right now and for you that the joy of the Lord will continue in your lives and you will continue to share just that with us
    as we all need this.
    Thank you for being here.

Thanks Allen, We need each other in times of crises, just to know that others trust in the Lord and can relate to the strength we rely on in Christ. It is like family members who understand another's loneliness or sorrow, coming together in the Lord....not just a casual prayer (which is appreciated) but genuine sharing in the Lord's reliance and comfort. This is not about me, but about us as believers. Even like reba's news of her and her husband. I think of her and her husband and know that their life is in the Lord hands. That is the most positive thing about the brotherhood, sharing the victory we have in Christ.

Well put, brother. I have had MS developing in my body, since the early Mid-Seventies that was finally diagnosed in '08 or '09 and the Head Doctor of the Nero Clinic of the VA shouts at me, "Are you taking your shots?" And after I answer, "Then why are you not getting well?"

All I have for them is the smart elect sounding answer, "You people could not diagnose me when I came in in the early mid-seventies and I was smart enough back then that I knew better than to let you Pre-Graduate, Med. Students do an Exploratory Surgery when they are still doing their Labs." He, being their teacher as they go through the Labs Portion of their Medical Education, would not, likely take that kindly.

And so it is that I have given my wife my PoA over Life and Property with only one stipulation. I've instructed her that, in holding the Life PoA, she should not allow the creeps to run her out of funding by keeping me on Life Support for longer that the required seventy-two hours. When I go Home, it is time to bury the shell.

Amen Bill, I hope that you allow The Spirit in you to give you the joy of an uncorruptible vision of the peace that the Lord has prepared for us (undeserving as we are). As His mercy and goodness follows us to the dwelling in the House of The Lord forever.

Hi Doug, keeping you and your wife in my prayers :pray :hug. You are right as one never knows when the end will come as my husband had that scare with my last hip surgery. I wasn't coming out of the anesthesia and quit breathing for a bit. They gave me three shots of narcon and after the third shot I started coming around. My husband was calling everyone asking for prayer for me as he needed to be consoled by the brethren at that moment. Even though we might not always agree with what others believe we are still a sister brotherhood as we are all joined together by Christ and should always have love and compassion for each other.
May the peace, love and joy always be in you and your wife's life :)
