I am looking into a career change.
I was thinking about buying my own forum.

Anyone know what they cost to have a decent user friendly forum?
And how much it will cost to have a reliable technical person to keep it running smoothly?

It can be a forum about anything.
They seem to be hot items these days.
Any ideas what types of forums might be a good idea?

I have looked into this in the past as well and have found them to be rather expensive to run, especially when you get a lot of users. This increases your need for bandwidth, which drives up your hosting costs. Using Google Ads is ok, but realize a lot of people use adblockers. The template they use here is clean and userfriendly, but check with the tech guy here to find out the real deal on that.

Maybe I'll hire Jethro to run it.
