C'mon,

Don't let your lack of education and where you were born be a hindrance. It is nothing to be ashamed of...

Was that an attempt at humor?

better luck next time.

It would have been a good response to a third-world serf, field worker with no education, I suppose...

Proverbs 18:6, "A fool's lips bring him strife, and his mouth invites a beating."

Yeah, you and what army? :tongue

Why doesn't anybody try to take on what I wrote? I mean, instead of just saying the lame statement of "you just can't fathom." That's not an answer. That's just a statement that the person trying to answer just doesn't know.

Yeah, you and what army?

Take a joke, little man......

Back to Solomon:
Proverbs 18:2, "A fool finds no pleasure in understanding, but delights in airing his own opinions."

We walk by faith. I have never been to heaven.

I believe God's word is true. If you don't then perhaps you are in the wrong place.

How do you expect a Christian to answer you?

If God's word doesn't cut it for you then the only thing a Chrsitian can go by is what is written.

2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

How do you expect a Christian to answer you?

You can at least acknowledge every point I made was at least arguable.

...or would that be committing the sin of thinking?

I was 43 year years old when I believed the gospel. I spent at least 35 of those years searching for truth. I didn't become a Christian because I couldn't think but because I could.

We are discussing heaven and hell. I have never seen either but I believe they exist.

I know one thing for certain. We will both see one or the other.

It doesn't matter to me if you believe this or not. You will...

I do care about the eternal destination of your body, soul and spirit but no one can force you to believe.

i think if God has left the building .. it would be bad to not leave with him and be left behind in the building.

What a unique way of putting it.... :)

Eternal Torment or Eternal Destruction. Which one is it?

Matthew 8:29, 18:8, 25:41, 46,
Luke 16:23-24, 28,
Hebrews 6:1-2, 2
Peter 2:9,
Jude 1:7,
Revelation 14:11

Matthew 7:13,
John 5:24,
John 8:51,
Romans 6:21, 23, 9:22,
2 Corinthians 7:10,
Philippians 3:18-19,
2 Thessalonians 1:9,
James 1:15,
1 John 3:14,
2 Peter 3:7, 3:16,
Revelation 2:11, 19:20, 20:6, 10, 14-

Is it possible that hell will involve both torment and eventual destruction?

I didn't know there was such a thing.

I didn't know you were supposed to be a robot just spitting out rote verse and lines.

Listen Sarita, just go to Biblegateway.com and read the Bible for yourself.

Bibleberean wont convince you, only God's Word will do that.

Maybe if I live long enough to develop senile dementia...

And yet, senile dementia will not numb the torment of an eternal hell

That might just be your eternal torment....sitting between a cloned pale rider and an exact replica of brutus in the middle of about 2 billion Billy Graham look-a-likes at a Gaither concert :-?
