1. Do I believe in every word of the Bible?

In truth, I study for there is much still that I do not understand about scripture. Though I will not deny once understanding is felt to be grasped, efforts are made to live in accordance to His word. Naturally, this does not mean that I never fall short. For as any sinner, I do.

2. Am I a fundamentalist?

Honestly, I would not know. In truth, I am not too big on wearing labels when it comes to my faith.

3. Am I humble?

Not as humble as I would like to be.

4. Do I believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judge the world?

Yes, I believe Jesus rose from the dead. When it comes to judgment, I do not feel that is His only purpose. Though will not deny, it is He alone who can decide who is God's and knows whose hearts harbor a true devotion to the Lord.

5. Do I receive correction without getting angry?

Not always. Sometimes I do tend to get upset, nonetheless I reflect on the words given to me when another feels I am wrong or have done wrong in some way.

6. Do I understand and receive that we as Christians need constant teaching and critiquing as Paul said?

Constant teaching is something that is a must in any believer's life as well as walk with God. When it comes to critique....it too can prove to be beneficial so long as critique does not turn to judgment or a form of condemnation.

7. Do I put God above everything, even my country?

God should be number one in my life, but I will not deny that He is not always so. Sometimes I tend to let my own personal wants or needs cloud my vision of what is truly important.

8. Do I receive what Jesus said: "Do not love the world, or anything in it?"

Though I do know the truth of the words, I cannot say I never fall prey to loving the world or the worldliness around me. Hence....why I need Jesus always in my life.

9. Do I realize that I know somebody by what comes out of their mouths?

Honestly, to me it has always been a matter of more than words but also actions. For just because a person says that they are something does not necessarily make one so....does it not?

10. Do I realize that Satan is attacking Christians because his time is running short?

Time is not something of which I can say or have control of how much one does or does not have. Satan has been oppressing those faithful to God since the beginning of time. Though I have no doubt he will push harder and harder as we draw near to the end times, that is the time of which I feel we need to truly and sincerely work harder on focusing on God rather than the power Satan does or does not have. Then...that can be much easier said than done at times.

First of all Welcome to the forums Josh :wave

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.
i prefer to understand what i follow and then i act accordingly to the best of my ability, in short yes i believe in every word of the Bible.

2. Are you a fundamentalist.
I believe it, i defend it and i proclaim it. The evidence is too overwhelming that every time i meet a Christian that disagrees my mind wants to explode.

3. Are you humble.
I try but i am not as humble as i could be.

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.
Yes sir.

5. Do you receive correction without getting angry.
Depends on the manner in which the correction was given.

6. Do you understand and receive that we as Christians need constant teaching and critiquing as Paul said.
Yes sir.

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.
Sadly no, its a thing i believe we all struggle with here and there.

8. Do you receive what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".
see number 7

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.
I guess so.

10. Do you realize that Satan is even attacking Christians because his time is so short.
Yes sir.

Josh,

When invited to a feast take the lower seat. Later you may be invited higher.

Remember the story of Asahel when he chased after Abner. He was fleet of foot, but no match for the older, more experienced Abner in hand to hand combat. Abner asked Asahel to go back, but Asahel would not listen to older, wiser counsel, though given by his enemy. He died that day.

Thank you for the reply, and atleast I got two of them, if anyone reads this message that just read this post please post your answers. For Joe, you didn't answer my questions, and I have no ideal what your talking about.

I really appreciate it, and by the 2 of your answers I noticed that I'm in the company of strong mature believers in the risen Christ. By my seeing things in life, I have noticed that everything in the bible is true and so many things that you must be in connection with God to understand.

I am looking forward to posting and interacting with the members of this forum, and by growing with them and one day meeting them in the contact of real people. In the name of our lord Jesus Christ, amen.

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.

It is 100% fully inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Tim.3:16).

2. Are you a fundamentalist.

"a movement in American Protestantism that arose in the early part of the 20th century in reaction to modernism and that stresses the infallibility of the Bible not only in matters of faith and morals but also as a literal historical record, holding as essential to Christian faith belief in such doctrines as the creation of the world, the virgin birth, physical resurrection, atonement by the sacrificial death of Christ, and the Second Coming."......I am this.

3. Are you humble.

I am extremely humble. But be prepared to be called prideful and arrogant if you are bold with what the Word of God says. It has only happened to me from Christians...weird (Mat.5:5).

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.

Jesus did rise from the dead, just as Jonah was raised from the dead and spit out of the belly of the fish after 3 days. I believe He is coming back for the overcomers during the Passover week this year. So March 2016 would be the 2nd Coming if I'm right...is that soon to you?

5. Do you recieve correction without getting angry.

Yes most the time, and sometimes I get angry at injustice from authorities who correct unjustly, but I sin not (Eph.4:26).

6. Do you understand and recieve that we as christians need constant teaching and critiqing as Paul said.

Absolutely. I've always told my Christian friends to let me know immediately if they see me doing, or saying anything that does not coincide w/ the Word of God (2 Cor.13:5).

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.

Yes, can't stop thinking about Him

8. Do you recieve what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".

Been looking up for years. I don't care about making money or receiving anything this world has to offer. This place is not my home...not yet anyway (Rev.19:11-22:5).

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.

Many Christians cuss, gossip, and talk about people to discredit them or destroy their name. I don't believe in these things (Heb.12:14).

10. Do you realize that satan is even attacking christians becuase his time is so short.

He has always sought to destroy the righteous, if the righteous could not be destroyed or deceived, then he is wasting his time (Gen.3:4; 2 Cor.11:3). Satan's time is about 10 1/2 years long in my opinion (7 yrs of Tribulation and a short time after the 1,000 yr period that I believe is probably 3 1/2 years. This is a short time (1 Pt.5:8).

Lovely has offered about as close to an honest answer to these questions as I could offer. I would fit nicely in the 'mold' that she has created in her words. So, if you read her offering of answers, these would pretty much sum up mine as well.

Blessings,

MEC

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.
Every word that I have read. I haven't yet read every book even.

2. Are you a fundamentalist.
Yes, but sometimes I don't act that way.

3. Are you humble.
Most of the time. It is hard, but I try to be.

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.
Absolutely.

5. Do you recieve correction without getting angry.
Most of the time. Sometimes who gives it and how it is done can get me angry.

6. Do you understand and recieve that we as christians need constant teaching and critiqing as Paul said.
Yep.

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.
I try to, but it is hard. So sadly, not all the time.

8. Do you recieve what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".
Again, very hard. I am not in this world to make heaps of money, or to get heaps of 'stuff'. But it is hard not to love the world, because on the surface it looks pretty attractive.

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.
No. I believe it is much more deep than that. People can also lie or have secrets. What is in their heart is what matters.

10. Do you realize that satan is even attacking christians becuase his time is so short.
Yes, and this has always been so.

Just signed up, 31 years old, and need to ask a few questions. These questions are to know your level in your relationship with Jesus Christ and what you're all about.

I'm not sure how to quote parts of your message at a time, and write in between, if you see what I mean, so I'm trying to at least write in a different colour so you can see which bit is what I'm writing.
Isn't this a bit unfair us answering all these questions and you not giving us your answers?

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.

Yes. Having said that I don't understand it all, but if it's inspired by God and God never lies, it seems logical that it must all be true.

2. Are you a fundamentalist.

Not sure what one is to be honest. I'm evangelical.

3. Are you humble.

Not sure. I think so, and hope so.

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.

Yes

5. Do you recieve correction without getting angry.

Yes

6. Do you understand and recieve that we as christians need constant teaching and critiqing as Paul said.

Never really thought about it, but I'd have thought that would be so.

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.

I used to. I'm struggling with my faith at the moment, and God's been knocked slightly off-centre in my life at the moment. He probably shares top spot in my list of most important things in my life at the moment with friends and maybe one or two other things.

8. Do you recieve what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".

Where does he say "don't love anything in it"? I'm supposed to love people, and God never said not to love food or music. I don't love the world though.

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.

Not really, there's more important things surely?, like the fruits of the Spirit.

10. Do you realize that satan is even attacking christians becuase his time is so short.

Yes but I wouldn't have thought he regarded 6,000 years or more as a particularly short time, so I don't really think that's his reason.

The red writing doesn't seem to have worked. Sorry.

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.
I believe in a literal as opposed to a literalistic understanding of the Bible.

2. Are you a fundamentalist.
I believe in the must fundamental doctrines of the Bible, but I wouldn't say I am a fundamentalist as it is defined these days.

3. Are you humble.
Not all the time and not as much as I should. We'd be lying if we said yes to all of the time.

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.
Yes!

5. Do you recieve correction without getting angry.
Sometimes. It also depends on how the correction was given.

6. Do you understand and recieve that we as christians need constant teaching and critiqing as Paul said.
Yes, we are not to judge the world, but we are to judge each other. This is what Paul says.

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.
I want to say yes, but I am human and get caught up in current events sometimes... no.

8. Do you recieve what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".
Defining the world as "the secular world" and love as "idolatry" I try hard not to, but see answer above.

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.
Honestly, some things are said out of ignorance.

10. Do you realize that satan is even attacking christians becuase his time is so short.
This, I believe, is true.

1. Do you believe in everyword of the bible.
:yes Yes I do.

2. Are you a fundamentalist.
I prefer the term JESUS FREAK.

3. Are you humble.
I do what I can but I doubt any of us are truly humble.

4. Do you believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming back to judged the world.
Without it my faith means nothing.

5. Do you recieve correction without getting angry.
Once again I do what I can but I'm still human

6. Do you understand and recieve that we as christians need constant teaching and critiqing as Paul said.
Yes we should never stop learning

7. Do you put God before everything, even your country.
Yes I do, in fact I have even been called "unamerican" because of it.

8. Do you recieve what Jesus said: " Do not love the world, or anything in it".
Of course in the world not of it.

9. Do you realize that you know somebody by what comes out of their mouth.
By their fruits you shall know them :amen

10. Do you realize that satan is even attacking christians becuase his time is so short.
I have seen demons I know they attack and I know they really don't like me. If you knew my background you would know why.
