NOTE: Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, noted that while the PPFA reported carrying out a record number of abortions in 2005-2006, it "did not record a single adoption referral."

QUATH WHAT KIND OF COMMENT IS THAT ?
Your comment is that God or Jesus does not want partial nith abortion. However, if that were true, then why does God let babies become severely deformed, present a major health risk to the mother or die in the womb?

If God is ok with these things happening, why is abortion something God would have a problem with?

Living in a world tainted with the sin of man and his rebeliousness will continue until Jesus returns. Man will then know his foolishness and will never doubt God's word again.

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:1-4

Thank you for providing the information.

There is a danger in manking statements and/or arguements for or against something without providing supporting information.

Again, thank you for providing that supporting information - I will look into that teen site a little more. It is clear that the church must present not alternative information, but godly and what I would say should be 'normal' information in regards to teens and sexuality and motherhood.

The church needs to become a haven for those who are faced with pregnancy. Rather than being critical of them for becoming pregnant, the church needs to be able to support them and restore them.

The ministry of the church is to be reconcillation.

2 Cor. 5:18-19

18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Let me make sure I am getting this straight. You think that God is maiming and killing babies in the womb because Adam was rebellious?

No. Your understanding of God maiming and killing babies in the womb is faulty.

Babies being maimed and miscarried are the results of sin in the world. God created all good, and man's sin caused all that is wrong in the earth.

When the old heaven and earth is passed and God makes all new without sin, there will be no more pain, suffering, tears, death, etc.

Couldn't God have decided that having babies die in the womb because Adam ate a fruit was a little too awful and just stop it? In other words, God could easily stop this with a thought. However, he chooses to have it happen. So it is God's will that these babies die and suffer in the womb. Do you agree or disagree with that?

God's justice will play out through mankind's history from Adam to the return of Jesus Christ. The principalities in the spiritual realm are all taking note, and any rebellion after the current dispensation of physical time is over will be answered with a swift kick in the butt by God himself. No matter how ole Lucifer attempted his little rebellion against God Almighty, he has always ended up on the short end. As difficult as it is to man's ego in not being the center of God's purpose, God is fulfilling exactly what Lucifer wanted to be; only God is giving a creature that was made out of the mud, the position that dear Lucifer coveted.

It is more important to serve God in this short life and move into eternity as one of His purchased possessions, than it is to worry about how terrible it was during our short stay here.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

More Bush

The following is President George W. Bush’s Video Address to the 35th Annual National Right to Life Convention.

I’m pleased to address the National Right to Life’s annual convention. I send my warm greetings to your president, Wanda Franz. And I thank all the men and women gathered in Kansas City for their service to our country.

More than three decades have passed since this group of courageous Americans took up one of the great moral issues of our time – the protection of innocent human life. When this group was founded in 1973, that basic value was under direct assault and serious challenge, and our country seemed to be drifting in the wrong direction.

Yet, for 34 years, the right to life movement has spoken with clarity and conviction and you have rallied millions of Americans to our cause. You’ve been faithful stewards of our Declaration of Independence’s promise that all people have an inalienable right to life. You’ve been fearless shepherds of the innocent and the unborn, and through your witness you have helped more of our citizens understand that the mark of a great nation is the respect we give to every single human life.

Over my six years as President, I’ve had the privilege of standing with you to ensure that more unborn children are welcomed in life and protected in law. Working together, we passed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act and the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. We’ve refused to spend taxpayer money on international programs that promote or perform abortion overseas. We’ve enacted a ban on the grisly practice of partial-birth abortion, and earlier this year, the United States Supreme Court upheld this just and vital law. The majority that issued this landmark ruling included two outstanding justices that I nominated to the court: John Roberts and Sam Alito.

Together, your organization and my administration have compiled an unprecedented record in defense of the unborn, and our work continues. I ask that you continue to work with my administration to promote adoption, teen abstinence, and crisis pregnancy programs, as well as the vital work of faith-based groups.

I ask that you stand with me to support the promise and potential of stem cell research without crossing a fundamental moral line, and I ask you to continue to work with respect and civility to appeal to the hearts and conscience of a good nation so we can encourage more Americans to embrace a culture of life.

This is a time of challenge for the pro-life movement, but it is a time for confidence as well. Throughout its history, this movement has overcome skepticism and scorn with prayers and persistence, always guided by a belief that human life is a gift of our Creator and a blessing we are charged to protect. And no movement is stronger than one governed by conviction, strengthened by faith, and founded on unyielding love for all human life.

I salute you for all your achievements. I thank you for continuing the fight for the unborn and I send you my prayers, best wishes and respect. May God bless you and may God continue to bless our wonderful country.

Interesting point, but that would imply that all life is sacred and no human should kill another. Yet the Bible is ok with the killing of people and children. And if children were really blessings from God, I don't see why he would specifically say for people to kill them in certain parts of the Bible.
Maybe there were children and babies that were killed back in the days, but I think God knew that they would be with him in heaven and not the place where their parents ended up. So they are special to him because thet weren't going to suffer along with their disobedient parents, but they would end up in the loving arms of the Lord! So that was his way of sparing them!

If that is the case then there is nothing wrong with infanticide or abortion. After all, the babies will be with God, so they will be special. In fact, if Christians bombed the Muslims, then the adults go to hell, but their children go to heaven. So it would seem if you really believe this philosophy, it can lead to a lot of morality that I think we find nasty.

Logically, the problem is

If killing babies is good, then killing any baby is good.

If killing babies is bad, then God telling people to kill babies is bad.

Emotionally, you can thinking about being part of the Hebrews in the past under Joshua. You walk into a room with just a baby crying. Will you pick up the baby and slit its throat or will you defy God?
