Mrs. White states that her works are to be proven from THE WORD. That means that it is in the Word of God that is to be seen in first place, when she states anything. See 1 Cor. 13:32.

The Slaughter of Ezekiel 9 is not anything New. Sure, it will be the last one, Nahum 1:9. And it will be the worst one, because of prophecies Truth, (more people & worldwide as its location) yet, E.G.W. needs to be proved she states.

Matthew 24:14 says that Christ would come when the Gospel went to all the world. But after Christ made this True statement it still needed the total Truth of the Gospel to be The Gospel, for it did go to the world, and He did not come, why?? Romans 10:18.
It is God and the Everlasting Gospel that has got to be understood & BELIEVED! One can not understand by just a one time prophecy!! ( :fadein: OK??)

Paul and all those of his day (and real believers from here, even today!) would have made shipwreck if he and they had not known this. Put yourself in his or their place??? Christ says that He would come & Paul says that the Gospel .. "Yes verily, their sound went into all of the earth, and their Words unto the end of the WORLD." And Christ did not come, why??? Because the Eternal Gospel has one more required condition! One of a repeat history. You cannot have 1/2 Gospel and have a whole Gospel! Such as the worlds teaching of promises only, with the ETERNAL COVENANT CONDITIONS left out. Hebrews 13:20. Can you not hear the ones of today calling Christ a false prophet because of the Matt. 24:14 Truth?? Check Matthew 10:25!

And Eze.. 9 is exactly the same!! OK? Most all realize that 70 A.D. was the first history. (at least) And it was Christ's true Virgin Fold that was slaughtered. (see Matt. 10:5-6 & verse 15) We are told that not one Christian died in this Eze. 9 slaughter. (Why?) Christ had told us 39 or so years before that the Virgin Fold was DESOLATE of Himself! See Matt. 23:38. (who replaced Him by the way?) Anyhow, inside of this group were the Matthew 23:15 'many converts' who were not given a chance as of yet, for knowing the real Christ. (Virgin doctrines only) These were given until 70 A.D. to become Christians and leave the apostate Virgin teachings fold. They could hear of Christ from the [outside] where the in house Christian church's taught, if they would.

Now, where did the Word of God ever tell us about the Matt. 24:20-22 'Sabbath Flight' verses being repeated??? Just because E.G.W. says so? No, not hardly!! (yet it does prove that the Sabbath was being kept long after Christ went back to heaven!)
And this Eze. 9 slaughter that was about 39 yrs. after the MIDNIGHT CRY was given from the outside to Christ's own inside? and that the LOUD CRY of SLAUGHTER was to be repeated? Or that there was never to be another world flood? (no repeat) Or Nah. 1:9 about sin NOT ARISING A SECOND TIME. Even 666 can be documented & Verified by the Word of God in previous testing for what the testing will require at histories end, and what the mark will be!

Now: God gives you the verses in the complete Everlasting Gospel of His Word. One does BELIEVE His Word does covers the 66 total books right? John 1:1-4. We do believe that this is the Word of God, right? And Everlasting WORD??? If you believe God, then you could see & believe why many prophesies can be seen as True, if it is from E.G.W. or else where.

The Godhead told eternity that: "The thing that [hath been], it is that which [shall be]; and that [which is done is that which shall be done]: (and if that is not clear enough? They say it a Second time! for Documentation) and [there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.]" That is the Word of God!!!

So if it does not happen again, God has said that it will not happen again. Such as 'sin will not arise a second time." Nahum 1:9 & the 'rainbow in the sky' (I think most know what that meant?) Anyhow, there are so very few times that it will not repeat, that God tells us of them rather than the reverse.

Does one believe God, that is the fatal question? A person does not need to think that they can trick God with His (their) Words. It is not a possibility! :o

But just in case you need a little more ETERNAL GOSPEL TRUTH, Lets look for a second time at Documentation of their Words!!
In Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 we see Revelations ending verses repeated! You remember Revelation 22:18-19 of where we are warned about adding or removing from [The Book], that to do so will have God remove our name from the book of life? That is seen in verse 14.

But we want verse 15 for that of repeat history again being documented. And this is again being recorded a second time!. God again states an Eternal Everlasting Gospel TRUTH!
"That which hath been [is now]; and that which is [to be] hath [already been;] and [God requireth that which is past."] What was the warning in verse 14 about?? Could this be the Word of God without God telling us the truth?

And E.G.W.? I have always said that she believed as I do! Seriously, one best find out what God requires before you start grading the wisdom of a True prophet of God, (their writings & wisdom) when you do not even know what Hebrews 5's 'milk' stuff is about yet.

And this End time of Ezekiel 9's Slaughter? The 144000 are already made up at this time & separated, as seen in 1 Peter 4:17 & Revelation 12:17. (compare 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3) And it is the worlds professed Christians that will need to make the final free will choice of dying before taking the 666 mental & physical testing Mark of satan. (again see Nahum 1:9) And the 36 yrs. time seen in the first history between 34-70? No more 36 years we are told!!
This second time around we are told that it will be.. "cut short in Righteousness" .. by both Christ & Paul'! You did catch that twice documented Truth? by both Christ & Paul!

To deep? Well, if one really Believes God, it would not be to deep! See Matt. 4:4 & 2 Tim. 3:16.

But first this short posted paragraph on another thread here about Adventist & E.G.W.

I believe it is possible for a SDA to be saved but like the Catholic church it is in spite of their teachings not because of them.
I think Ellen G. White was a fraud a liar, false prophet and teacher.

That is as plain as I can make it.

Again, nothing personal.

Pg. 413 of D.A. in part only:
The word Peter signifies a stone,---a rolling stone. Peter was not the rock upon which the church was founded. The gates of hell did prevail against him when he denied his Lord with cursing and swearing. The church was built upon One against whom the gates of hell could not prevail.

Centuries before the Saviour's advent Moses had pointed to the Rock of Israel's salvation. The psalmist had sung of "the Rock of my strength."
Isaiah had written, "Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation." Deut. 32:4; Ps. 62:7; Isa. 28:16. Peter himself, writing by inspiration, applies this prophecy to Jesus. He says, "If ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious: unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious, ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house." 1 Peter 2:3-5, R.V.

"Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Cor. 3:11. "Upon this rock," said Jesus, "I will build My church." In the presence of God, and all the heavenly intelligences, in the presence of the unseen army of hell, Christ founded His church upon the living Rock. That Rock is Himself,---His own body, for us broken and bruised. Against the church built upon this foundation, the gates of hell shall not prevail.

How feeble the church appeared when Christ spoke these words! There was only a handful of believers, against whom all the power demons and evil men would be directed; yet the followers of Christ were not to fear. Built upon the Rock of their strength, they could not be overthrown."
...

"Instead of appointing one man to be the head, Christ said to the disciples, "Be not ye called Rabbi;" "neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." Matt. 23:8, 10.

"The head of every man is Christ." God, who put all things under the Savior's feet, "gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all." 1 Cor. 11:3: Eph. 1:22-23. The church is built upon Christ as its foundation; it is to obey Christ its head. It is not to depend upon man, or be controlled by man."

Hi, John here: I thought that I might post this here for as as not to get buried as quickly? _______

Posted: Fri Dec 09, 2005 5:37 am Post subject: Re: Interesting SDA Information - Is this true?
You might want to reread the first post again. I did not write that post. It is an article about Seventh Day Adventists and bullet items of "facts" of their beliefs. I asked the question in the title asking whether those "facts" are true. If you will read all of the way to the end of the article you will see the URL where the article was retrieved from. You can study that site and see whether the author has any valid points or not. Let us all know after you study the "facts" and the beliefs of the Seventh Day Adventists.Thanks.[/quote]

John here:
Surely 'we' see two groups or folds here posting up about the thread? (at least ) And as Rom. 8:1 tells us that we are perfect with no condemnation, and even as some of us believe in the Everlasting Gospel (Rev. 14:6) being a Covenant Conditional one, and then the other group, having the doctrine of being OSAS..
OK: now we see a real problem facing each of the other folds teaching. Yet, both claim Rom. 8:1's No condemnation!

It seems that the posted up question is to obtain information about SDA & Truth??? And the forum has given a site to go to for study, to see if it has true 'facts' & if they are correct or not??? And the title say 'interesting information'

Of course the thread has gotten into E.G.W.. And her 'bashing' by some here. It must be that the 'article' refers to she?? Anyway, this post is for the readers of this site. (first poster & all) I will post up in part something that this (now dead) person believed. (my added highlights)

Thoughts From The Mount Of Blessing -Ellen G. White
Pgs.67-68

"But if there is anyone who can consistently testify under oath, it is the Christian. ... Jesus proceeded to lay down a principle that would make oath taking needless. He teaches that the exact truth should be the law of speech. "Let your speech be, yea; Nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one." R.V.

These words condemn all those meaningless phrases and expletives that border on profanity. They condemn the deceptive compliments, the evasion of truth, the flattering phrases, the exaggerations, the misrepresentations ... They teach that no one who tries to appear what he is not, or whose words do not convey the real sentiment of his heart, can be called truthful. ...

A glance, a word, even an intonation of the voice, may be vital with falsehood. Even facts may be so stated as to convey a false impression. And what is more than this is of the evil one.
Everything that Christians do should be as transparent as sunlight. Truth is of God; deception. in every one of its myriad forms is of Satan; and whoever in any way departs from the straight line of truth is betraying himself into the power of the wicked one.

Yet, it is not a light or easy thing to speak the exact truth. We cannot speak the truth unless we know the truth; and how often preconceived opinions, mental bias, imperfect knowledge, errors in judgement, prevent a right understanding of matters with which we have to do!"

Me again!
Just a thought about this person being a liar & false prophet??

And about the two groups only, that I mentioned here. I personally wonder about the moral integrity of any post sending 'any person' to a site for checking out falsehood or truth, one that we do not believe in ourself even, perhaps? Read 2 Corinthians 4:2 warning for all of us.

Here is an example only for how I see it:
I believe that the devil was 'full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty'. I also believe that he was a covering cherub over the Ark in heaven, with the heavenly Mercy Seat covering the Eternal Covenant of God, the ten Commandments. And I also believe that both Adam & Eve were told & warned in their very first 7th Day Sabbath sermon after being created, about staying away from the forbidden tree right in the midst of the garden of Gods making.

We as they, Adam & Eve, if in Christ are perfect. (Romans 8:1 again)
Now: Just say that perhaps we have Adam as the 'thread' starter telling 'perfect in Christ' Eve, that this serpent fellow in the garden might have some interesting information about God to tell us about, about this 'ye shall surely die' remark? And that even God tells us how wise he once was & that he had one of the highest position's in heaven, surely you might just check him out to see if you can learn of the 'true facts or not' from his 'forbidden garden site'?

Well, I guess that some can see the huge gape between professed Christian postings, regardless of who is doing the posting, me or others, or other sites??. (this red, is for a red flag of warning!)

And 'Led' of the Holy Spirit?? Romans 8:14. See Titus 3:9-11 for answers to that one?

Compare Isaiah 14:12-14 with Acts 8:9 for today's 's'pirit stuff that one is constantly reading, plus.. go here to this site, & go to that site! One only wonders what Christianity has become!?? And yes, God has told us. Revelation 17:1-5.

I am reading Ellen White's book "Steps To Christ". I find the writings from that book to be inspiring. If her writings are more like "Steps To Christ" I think she's not as bad as people are trying to make out.

Unless of course you consider her failed prophecy of date setting. The Bible speaks about such people in Deuteronomy 18:17-22.

"Steps to Christ" is a good read....

So is Maranantha.....

She has a very simple way of conveying the Love of Christ that even a child can grasp....

"Unless of course you consider her failed prophecy of date setting. The Bible speaks about such people in Deuteronomy 18:17-22."

Just a thought on the above:
Do you think that anyone could make a Born Again judgement call without reading all of her work on that subject? And if they do, which is the Deut. verse condemning, the one who wrote more on explaining the subject., or the one who gives a judgement call leaving out the rest of the story?

Such as Jonah 3:3-4 "So Jonah arouse, and went unto Nineveh, according to the Word of the Lord. ... And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, [and cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.]" Now, who do we now see condemned, the Word of God, or the messenger? Neither? Then why is that so??

My thoughts on this matter is that the one who read my post and assumed there was a condemnation of anyone mentioned at all needs to go back and re-read it and figure out at what point they put words in the other fellas mouth. The gist of my post was simply to offer a known fact that may have been overlooked. I'm not a gatekeeper nor have I ever claimed to be. And with that, I forgive you for mis-interpreting the intention of my post.

"The gist of my post was simply to offer a known fact that may have been overlooked." :o

Genesis 49:16-17 does not apply to your 'posted remark', huh?

Ok, this time need to throw my hands up and admit I have no idea what you are talking about or trying to say. I apologize.
