I'm not sure if this should go here, but,
I heard somewhere, I do not remember, that makes this statement:

What we do in the physical affects the spiritual realm.

Is this true?

It is true, and primarily in the matter of prayer.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (James 5:16-18)

It sure is. Not only what we do, but also what we say and what we think.
That's why scripture tells us that even lusting in ones heart makes us guilty of adultery.

We must remember flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom of God (spiritual realm). The scripture says that God only rewards righteousness by Faith in Christ and His Finished work. Therefore a Believers Faith must be maintain exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit only works and help us within these parameters.

The worlds philosophy is reason deals with facts (flesh and blood). The Kingdom of God philosophy is Faith deals with Truth (spiritual realm)...we only agree with the Word of God.

Say you are kinda down .. some one you love does something nice you smile and the downers are getting lifted.
I am not talking clinical depression .. When i am depressed kind mopy if i do something for some one else it brings me up

You might closer to the spiritual realm than you think! The physical world invades and underlies all of our senses. The metaphysical lies beyond our perceptual capabilities. And yet! Accepting the possibility of an ongoing existence need not merely be a leap of faith. Science has given us some quite firm clues that exsitence is very different than how we perceive it. At its most basic level even this physical world may be more ethereal than real. Less than a century ago, as the understanding of nuclear physics progressed, we discovered that the solid matter we touch isnt so solid after all. In fact it is made of almost entirely empty space. Scale up an atom to the size of an orange and the surrounding electron cloud will be four miles away. Within in that space is absolutley nothing. Then we discover with phsyics that even that tiny atom which make up up our bodies and every other seemingly solid piece of material may actually be wavelets of information and not particals at all. The world may be the expression of toatlly ethereal information.

And to think 3000 years ago some desert goat farmers already had thought the same, with wisdom (information) God created the universe.

As to your question, Ive heard it asked why in torah so little is said about an afterlife. Is because whats most important is what we do today. Yehovah said all that He requires of us is to do good, love justice and walk humbly with Him.

Most Believers walk in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Ephesians 4:17-18

While He did say that, walking humbly with Him means something much more now than what it did then. One cannot walk with the Father if they don't accept His Son.

When God said this, people were sacrificing humans in the attempt to get YHVH to once again make His face shine upon them. But such attempt did nothing other than provoke Him to demand they stop such evil and to remind them that all He ever requires of us is to do good, love justice and walk humbly with YHVH.

Show me where God contradicts Himself and says I now need to believe that a human sacrifice will cause Him look upon us again?

Leviticus 26 is I think very explicit in regards how to walk with Him.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Psalm 44:22
Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Romans 8:36

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

God never says that you need to believe that a human sacrifice will cause Him to look upon you again. You cannot cause Him to do anything. In love God sacrificed his revulsion to sin and turned to look upon us again even though nothing we do is good enough to deserve forgiveness. In love God sacrificed His right to absolute obedience so that flawed beings like us could live despite our failings. God desires we do good, love justice, and walk humbly with Him. In love God personally showed us what that walk is like through His Incarnation. In love God sacrificed His incarnate life to demonstrate to us His victory over death. It is a sacrifice for God to look upon us, but He does so anyway because He loves us. We are not fast enough to walk with God, but in love He sacrifices His own pace that we might keep up. He will even carry us if we ask Him. Our only hope for salvation is in God's sacrifice, which He is happy to make, out of His love for us.

Sowing and reaping.
Choices create consequence.
Karma.
All of this, which is the same really, happens because the physical and the spiritual realms are very much connected.

well, you exist to manifest, and you have a choice; essentially to manifest Light, or Darkness; and it is you who will reap what you sow, God's only unbreakable rule. There are no others, that i have found in Scripture yet. That is the only rule that you cannot break.

So, that said, it is pertinent here to reflect hat we Read "As above, so below," so it might be more accurate to say that what we manifest in the spiritual realm--at least in our domain, the physical plane--will be reflected in the seen, and so while it might be easy to come to the conclusion that what happens in the seen might affect what happens in the unseen, this is surely not the best perspective, imo.
