Eora , is there a way (or a desire) to include the author in messages that appear in our Alerts?

    For example:

I got the alert today for requesting our username color based on male/female (I'm so confused now whether I should refer to our "sex" or our "gender") and it reminded me of a technical issue of these Alters. These Alters don't show the author and thus it is impossible for members to know who sends them.

Hi chessman! We have private forums for men and women! Send a message to an admin for access. Your username will also change colour!
For this one, it's not important to know who sent it, I suppose. But in the past, I have received these as personal type messages/conversations but we have no idea who personally sent it and thus who to respond to. I wonder if the moderators are aware that these alerts don't show authors?

If it is not technically possible or it's desirable to be this way, then maybe a standard procedure could be used by the authors to simply include their username in the message, if they desire to.

    Just an observation.

Chessman, alerts are usually automatically generated by the system to let you know that someone has replied or quoted you etc.

That particular alert was a mass alert to everyone to promote a section of our forums.

    Like, could I join in?

    LOL
I'd like to be a fly on the wall.

Maybe I'll get my self into the woman's forum and see if that's fun!

Women's forum is ok for you...Not the men's room.
Where else are we going to be able to talk about you and get away with it.

Oh the things that we talk about in there...

But then again... You might not be able to understand the conversations unless you were a guy.

You don't think woman was created good?
    God made a mistake?
He created us for you, man.
Most guys think they're very good.
    Reconsider.
