i hope both of you stick around. ive been a member for...longer than that...and this place has been great for me, really it has. there's bound to be friction, now and then, but...as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another (or....something like that...paraphrasing, clearly).

I had to edit my post, I am horrible with dates since I haven't been in school for years
Anyway, I was going to leave a couple times but I decided that since I have a Harry Potter forum that I go to as well, I can still enjoy it while not posting about it here and be my own person as well as being a Christian. I have places to post exactly what I want to everywhere now. God is great and life is good. 
So yeah, I'm not planning on going anywhere.

That's alright and no I'm in my late twenties. If you really want to know why I like Harry Potter just read my signature. 
I am a firm believer in imagination and creativity which is why I believe that God doesn't have a problem with it either. After all, we are made in His image so clearly He has to have an imagination as well. He did create us and everything around us didn't He? However, I realize that not everybody agrees with me since Harry Potter deals with magic and witches,... but,.. I don't think that that was the type of magic that the Bible was referring to in my honest humble opinion. But hey, that's just me. It's like the same with magic tricks, it's simply not real.

I did like Lord of the Rings. It was great.

No, not exactly it can really be applied to any sort of fantasy.
