If you could change bodies with anybody (or anything) at all for one day who (or what) would it be and why. I would choose to change bodies with Jesus because I want to know what it feels like to be sinless.

Might not be so pleasant. He was well acquainted with our griefs. He wept at Lazarus' tomb. He felt, really felt, for the people locked in darkness.

I wouldn't want to do it. I am the only me! I wouldn't want to trade even with Jesus. He feels more grief over mankind than I ever have. Rather I want to somehow fulfill the destiny that I was created for.

A bird - to be able to fly

That would be cool. I actually think that Adam & Eve could fly, before they fell. I have had so many flying dreams that there has to be something to it. Isaiah even talks about it.

Isaiah 40:31
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.../

As cool as that would be, I don't think the human body was designed for flight.

Well yeah, but remember that, that could change in the twinkling of an eye! Besides. how many testimonies have I/we heard of Brothers and Sisters who were taken up in the Spirit without wings...quite a few. I can't wait!

It wasn't Jesus' body that made Him sinless. Changing bodies with Him, you would still be you but in His body. Now think about what His body endured and ask yourself if you still want to trade.

The not having any wings thing is a dead giveaway?

Angels were mistaken for humans in the Bible (example Judges 6:21-22), suggesting that wings are not necessary for flight. (People would have known they were angels if they had wings.) I saw an angel flying. Very graceful. No wings.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2 KJV

Of course, some angels do have wings.

Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. Isaiah 6:2 KJV

Lol! I don't even watch those movies but I still think that line is classic. :lol

Just one day?

What would be the point?

I know, somebody already pointed that out already remember? Which is why I said I would choose to be a cat for one day and laze around. :wink What about you?

Are you talking about the person in the Bible verse having seen an angel or you yourself?

Okay...
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg or Breyer...from SCOTUS.

Just so I could get him/her to retire from the bench. Maybe reverse a few decisions.
That would probably be a good thing. But I'm just not sure.

I'm sorry, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

For one day, maybe a whale? Explore the great oceans from beneath the water instead of on top of it.

On that note though, if this trading places with someone for a day a true trade? Will the other person/creature be you for a day?

How different would be the cat, the bird, or the whale that spent a day as a human?
