Hi everyone,

Since there was another bible study type announcement on this particular forum I figured it wouldn't hurt for me to post one myself :).

So...

I would very much like to get together with other sincere Christians to read through portions of the New Testament together with a view to seeking the Lord on how we might apply what is written.

A couple of things to bear in mind...

I am sick and tired of Church as it is practiced in North America. Sick and tired of it!

From head coverings, to women being silent in church assemblies, to the free exercise of spiritual gifts as God prompts members of the Body to speak out, and everything in between...the Church of today is a far cry from the way God intended Church to be.

I know that many of you reading this might immediately object to some or all of these topics but there is really only ONE question you need to ask yourself. What does the New Testament say about these things?

That's it! That's the only thing that matters for purposes of the discussion I would like to have with other Christians.

What you and I might prefer doesn't matter. What our culture might say is good or not to do doesn't matter. What other professing Christians are willing to do or not...doesn't matter.

If your heart is to seek after God and do what the He says to do in the Word then by all means let's get together and seek Him. Applying whatever He leads us to understand from what is written in the New Testament.

Respond to this thread and we'll connect.

Thanks.

Carlos
