God is teaching me to trust Him in deeper and more consistent ways. I'm under a doctor's care for depression, heart disease, and a kidney disease. I'm doing well as I've lost 30 pounds which is good for my heart and blood pressure. The depression is getting under control. But I've known of this kidney disease since I was 26 and I'm now 65.

I've been praying that my number would improve. I did a urine test last week and the results were shared today. My numbers last year were -159 and this week the results show I'm at -50. That's significant! An answer to prayer!

I once read somewhere that if you pray for something leave it with God, instead of lying awake worrying about it.

God has answered many of my prayers, sometimes not in the way I wanted, but I always came to understand why at a later time. We don't always know what is good for us.

One of the prayers that was answered was on a practical note. I used to live in Australia and was coming home to England, with my two children, after living there over 10 years. It was summer there, winter over here.

I had no money to buy my son a winter coat and I only had a few days left there. I prayer for help. The very next morning the head teacher's wife knocked on my door with a lovely winter coat for my son. I had told nobody about my need, so she could not have known.

ANSWERED PRAYER
1. i prayed for a really good dentist because i had some trouble with dentists making mistakes - i found one and he is awesome - he does outstanding work

2. several years ago i was in an awful mess in my life - i asked God to tell me how to think and i would think however He wanted me to - He led me to a certain preacher who i previously "wrote-off" as not my type - well several years later i am a changed person due to opening my mind to new understanding of God's word concerning His love and His authority over all things - still learning - but i'm no longer in a mess - i'm rising and growing in God

Well, God has answered my prayer for bringing me to this website. Although I still suffer with doubt at times I feel like that is just the devil having a hissy fit because he knows that I have accepted Jesus Christmas as my Lord and Savior and I'm getting baptized because of it. He knows that he lost and God has won me over and now he is trying to do everything in his power to steal my faith away from me. I just got to remember and keep telling myself that good is stronger than evil and God's grace and love that He has given me was shown on the day that Jesus laid down His life so that I could have mine with Him eternally.

Well, God has answered my prayer for bringing me to this website. OK, you're on my prayer list. God has many titles in Scripture. This is one of them:

"... for I am the LORD that healeth thee" (Exo 15:26). OUr Healer. Remember, PZ, after Christ ascended, people were still being healed left and right. An important question to ask ourselves: Who is God to us? Is He our Healer?

Here is my healing Scriptures that I keep and review from time to time. Good things in; good things out These are also your healing Scriptures. Have they not been given to us? His Word abiding in us?

Act 5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
