Anyone else take antioxidants? I have some kinda mental ailment. I require meds. I also do Orthomolecular, Dr.Hoffer style (vitamins b3 and c, selenium, vitamin E, etc.). I'm still a little crazy, but the meds work better and with fewer side effects.

Anyone else take antioxidants? Have you noticed benefits?

white tea is good stuff. you like a flavored variety?

I do. I like the flavored teas sometimes. Peach or strawberry and so forth.

Correct me if I'm wrong here...I thought I read that chocolate has antioxidants in it too...?

Reminds of a math riddle I saw. Bob has 32 chocolate candy bars, He eats 29 of them, What's Bob have now?

(Answer: Diabetes. Bob has diabetes.) :lol

Yes,chocolate has alot of antoxidants. The darker the better.I hated math.I hated story problems the most.If I would read " Mary went to the store and bought 38 cantaloupes" I would be scratching my head. What in the world would anyone want with 38 cantaloupes? No wonder I did not do well in math :lol

The only antioxidants that I know of that actually works is pycnogenol. It comes from the bark of the Maritime Pine. The indians used it 100s of years ago. It works. I don't take it any longer because it's too costly. You can find imitations at Walmart and places like GNC, but it's not the same. The stuff I was taking came from a place in California. Look up Kaire International.

And the teas and chocolates do not work?

My wife has given up chocolate...

(I don't blame her...)

Blessings.

Oh, good list Kathi, thanks. I knew about the fruit, but not the beans! First I heard that beans have antioxidants in them.

I had to give up chocolate but I loved it dearly .It gave me heart arrythmias called PVC's.And I would get a ton of them.Alcohol did that to me as well.I had to give up all caffeine except for my white tea.

I've given up coffee, too. Years ago.

Blessings.

And the teas and chocolates do not work?

I suppose they do, but I've never seen noticeable changes like I did when I was taking pycnogenol.

It took away my depression. It cleared up my psoriasis.(something the doctors could not fix)

This is from Kaire International. Google it. It's what I was taking. I've tried the imitations but never got the results I did with this stuff. What's pictured is about a 1 month supply. Once I catch up with my Christmas shopping, I just might give it another try.
