Whistle pops...
Those and pixie sticks and candy cigarettes.
I know pixie sticks as well as whistle pops, but was candy cigarettes an actual thing or are you just pulling my leg on that one?
i remember those.Oh yeah...there were two different kinds. (At least)
There were the sugar sticks with the red end (some were mint)
But the best ones were chocolate.
They came in a pack that looked just like a pack of cigarettes and had a little brown wrapper on the end that looked like Winston's.
Totally not politically correct.

Milk was no different then then now, the MacArthur dairy I have seen ,the tripson dairy ,which I grew up on ,was the vero dairy before ,both delivered milk ,butter, eggs, citrus to your home.before tripson you had no ice ,you had that delivered up to the invention of the refrigerator ,ice houses were around in my county up to mid 70s.on thr cabinet corner ,zoom in to see the bottle .the label might not be visibleThat must have been when milk was real milk and glass bottles were recycled and refilled. You peeled the top off and you got a layer of cream. Real full cream milk. You left your empty by the road and they replaced it daily. The milk man. Good system.
