Anyone got any aspirations/dreams etc for when they get older? Have you consdiered family etc?

Yeah, I want to go off to college, get a girlfriend, major in english or audio engineering, I'm not sure. Eventually I want to become a professional author, and sell novels I've written to the masses.

Audio engineering? Sounds interesting.

For a long time now I've wanted to get into web designing and developing, as I am very good at it and love doing it, but recenlty have been considering doing something more theology-like. We'll just have to wait and see.

It's not excactly a big dream of mine to have a girlfriend/wife and go and have a family etc. I'm not exactly 'hunting' for the gril or anything. I'd be fine to live on my own, actually, but if the right girl came along, well that's fine as well. Well that's my thinking at this stage of my life, and in my current circumstances. My views could easily change later in life.

I'm mostly taking it as it comes.

I want to major in French and work with a non-profit organization someday. :)

lol

I want to compose music for harpsichord, organ, and just about every instrument under the sun (EXCEPT PIANOFORTE). I really want to start working on a Stabat Mater or a Requiem Mass.

As far as my future, I want to be a gentleman.

EDIT: And yes, I am a "teen" - 14, although I sound 41.

Composing is an interesting career. One of my parent's friends composes music for films. Really interesting.

Welcome to the site, btw. Nice to have some more teen activity. PM Blazin Bones to apply to join the Teens Group as well.

Have fun on the boards.

Wow, everyone on this thread has some very interesting career choices. I'd like to be a firefighter/paramedic when I grow older. I plan on starting Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) school as soon after I graduate high school as possible, then I will save up my money (or hopefully get a scholarship), and attend Paramedic school at the local community college. Afterward, I will attend Fire Academy at the same college, and try to get hired at a Fire Department.

I also hope to be an accomplished guitarist when I grow older.. it's just always been one of my dreams. :pray

Okay my dreams are either Becoming a youth minister or get a Major in Computer graphics...(i don't know what that is called in college) I love God and I love showing others what God can do in your life. Youth ministry is a big way I can do that. I also love computer graphics. I love making them. I got the urge for that like at the beginning of this week. But my main priority is the first choice. I also want a family but not til after college when school stress is out of the picture.

I hope to GOD i become a lawyer, a good money making one too. :pray

I have so many dreams. To many to count actually. lol. All I know is that in one way or another, I just want to help people. And I love to travel. So, doing something that would reflect and make God proud, a missionary, perhaps? It's been crossing my mind a lot lately.

Missionary work to third world countries (like Africa) has been crossing my mind lately as well. :chin

I know. I wonder if it's God telling me this, or just something I'm considering. I want to help children, I think. I'm not sure. But something in another country is really appealing to me. Maybe I could become a teacher and teach to those kids for free (I'd have to either learn the language or teach them English). At the same time, I could also teach them about Christ. Or build em' a house! And donate food and stuff to em!

See? The dreaming never stops for me. lol

Perhaps. I guess my goals now are living in Christ NOW. It's hard at times, but I want to show that Christians aren't bad people. I'm reading a book called, "Damage Control - How to stop making God look bad". On the back it talks about how others view Christians as narrow-minded and judgmental. How sad! That's not the way we are supposed to be seen! I've just finished the first chapter and it's interesting. Its making me reconsider my past (and sometimes present) actions.

So, basically right now, I'm trying to get a group of people together willing to really live in their faith, support each other, bible study, etc...and I'm hoping to start something where Christians can go out on the internet and spread the word to people that way.

Having Christian groups like this forum is great, but I think if we got some of it's members to go to other sites and spread God's word, everyone would be stronger spiritually. We could even gather new members.
