Greetings!

What are your thoughts on apparitions? I think some of them are striking, while others are very strange. :lol

There are some that I find quite interesting.

Here are some photos, and they sure fit into the interesting and strange categories!

I found this while "surfing" ebay:

This crucifix looks very pretty in the night sky

What are your thoughts on these visions/apparitions? There are so many out there, it's hard to believe that something isn't behind it. If it's just coincidence, why aren't there a bunch of Barak or Brad Pitt apparitions? :)

What about the shroud? But that's a relic, right? HOw does an apparition go to "relic" stage?

I put my trust in the Bible not a shroud. I`ve never seen the shroud and have no idea if it is real or not, and I will probably die without ever seeing it. Whether I see it or not will have 100% no impact on my sprititual life. It is something I think nothing about, but the Bible is something that has a significant impact on my present and eternal life. I know it is real and that is enough for me.

It's just Pareidolia - our brains are very good at finding patterns in randomness. We 'see' what is most familiar to us. In most Americans, if it is religious, it's Jesus. In Islam, the pareidolia usually consists of 'seeing' the word Allah or Muhammad in randomness.

The same goes for alleged 'backmasking' and 'reverse speech' - it's auditory pareidolia and nothing more.
