That really depends on the version of fairy tales that are being told. A lot of the original versions of what we tell today were much darker, and more violent. The movies made today are very watered down.

I'm sorry, but I'm a little confused by this comment. Are you calling the people who change the stories jerks, or the people who don't change them?
It's not really meant to be either, it's similar to "it be like that sometimes" or "whatever will be will be". Tbh it's just my new favorite phrase and that's the only reason I said it. ^^;
 
EVERY GENERATION before us emulates us..... AS IT SHOULD.
So we are effectivly diluting the gene pool by living a life not of God's advice then teaching that flawed life to the children.

True, but I don't think that reading a story like Snow White and The Seven Drawfs to a child is going to make them want to poison anyone with an apple, and if it does, they've got serious issues.
