Kathi, I don't know you well enough to know if you have been impacted by autism. My job involves working with BCBA's who specifically address autism and the therapy for them, to get them reimbursed for their time. In the state of Michigan, where I live, there is a woeful shortage of BCBA's. Most of them are overwhelmed by the needs of families that are impacted by autism. With autism grabbing more headlines, there are more behavioral health providers willing to promote themselves as an option for it, but autism is unique. The state and the medical community is behind the curve with there response to this condition, but I feel that generations to come will be much better prepared to deal with it.

I sure hope the schools and everyone else is prepared and can see autism in a child at a very young age.The earlier the diagnosis the better.

Mercury in the baby combo vaccines has been identified with the rise of autism in kids. Legal actions have been taken to remove them although testing a year after the ruling still showed the Thimerosal (Ethylmercury) present. It isn't certain if they were just trying to use up the old stock or if they were still putting into the vaccines. Find out more on fda.gov and cdc.gov.

Yes, it has been "identified with" autism, but by whom? The only places I've heard that association made is in forums like this one and on Facebook. Scientific studies don't seem to support the idea that vaccines cause or even contribute to autism. Here are two studies you can look at if you're interested.

Mumps, measles, and rubella vaccine and the incidence of autism recorded by general practitioners: a time trend analysis
Autism and measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine: no epidemiological evidence for a causal association

The TOG

I have met WAY TOO MANY people in the medical profession who will not give their own children vaccines, but WILL sell them to you for your kids. That tells me just about all I need to know.

the phrmk knew that mecrury cause austim (mispelled for legal ramification easement) by 1950.
the motive for not openly admitting it was purely financial.

so many children and adults have been helped by giving them the enzyme(s) that help chelate or metabolize merucry out of the body , as a healthy body does, that no one who starts to search for real remains in doubt for very long, unless they trust the perpetrators.

The above listed vaccines have been used for a long time and didn't appear to be a problem. These were standard when my two oldest were babies. Now there is something like 32 different vaccines given. They are mixed together and given throughout the first year or so. Babies can be receiving as many as nine different vaccines in one shot. Overloading the system is also a concern. Just how much can a little body take.
Some parents are not opting out completely but have worked it out to where their children are not given so many at the same time but stretching them out over more months.

in chicago at the hmo , 33,000 families reportedly, they don't tell their members to not get the shots, but direct them to their own medical library to read up on them.
no one in the 33,000 families has autism. (as of the reports, publicly disclosed, about 6 years ago)

same results with the Amish. btw. (3 cases of autism that occurred, were traced to mercruryu exposure from other sources.)

Sources?

(the absence of autism in the Amish/ and other un-immunized groups has been well publicized for decades, since it first became public knowledge of the connection )

yeah - it was a 'joke' in medical school that none of the doctors would ever take their family members to a hospital or give them a floo shot or most others. they all knew too many people got sick while at the hospital from a nosocomial infection (an infection acquired at the hospital), and that more people get sick from medicine than from any other cause in the states !

you will find what you want to find when you search. seek for the truth, willing to pay the price, and you will find it, exactly as Yhvh promised.

You were the one to make the claims. If you don't wish to provide supporting links, then please do not make the claims.

follow the link i posted. there's 3000 more if you want them. (a little at a time)

besides, it's very public knowledge by now. (okay, for people who watch educational tv it is; if you don't have a tv, you won't be knowing i guess).

A staff member told Olmsted that she had never thought about it before, but in the five years that she had worked at the clinic she had never seen one autistic Amish.

On June 8, 2005, Olmsted reported on the autism rate in the Amish community around Middlefield, Ohio, which was 1 in 15,000, according to Dr Heng Wang, the medical director, at the DDC Clinic for Special Needs Children.
In addition to the Amish, Olmsted recently discovered another large unvaccinated group. On December 7, 2005, Age of Autism reported that thousands of children cared for by Homefirst Health Services in metropolitan Chicago have at least two things in common with Amish children, they have never been vaccinated and they don't have autism.

Homefirst has five offices in the Chicago area and a total of six doctors. "We have about 30,000 or 35,000 children that we've taken care of over the years, and I don't think we have a single case of autism in children delivered by us who never received vaccines," said Dr Mayer Eisenstein, Homefirst's medical director who founded the practice in 1973.
"So far," according to Age of Autism, "there is evidence of fewer than 10 Amish with autism; there should be several hundred if the disorder occurs among them at the same 166-1 prevalence as children born in the rest of the population."

Yeah let's see how easy it is to convince you that you have been fooled.

I can't believe people still believe that stuff.

There are thousands of studies by medical researchers from different countries, of various religions, funded by a variety of different sources, and all of them found no connection between vaccines and autism.

There was exactly ONE study that found a connection between vaccine and autism. The guy, a researcher named Andrew Wakefield, if you feel like googleing the story) was funded by a lawyer company that was planning a lawsuit against the pharmacy organisations. Sounds fishy, doesn't it? Wakefield was found guilty of abusing his test subjects and publishing a fraudulent paper. His colleagues that worked with him on that study distanced themselves from him when they found out and the journal that published his paper retracted it. Andrew Wakefield got his doctor's license revoked.

So who do you want to believe - the overwhelming evidence from all over the chaotic and diverse scientific crowd, or a single report that has been found bogus?

look again. remember to watch the money - who funded the reports that said mrcry is not to blame(one guess).

while i was still in pharmacy school i learned about the toxicity of immunizations, and the lack of real proof that they work even. (there is virtually no proof that any of them are worth as much as sea water).
it was no secret in medical schools in the 1980's, but had already been known for over 40 years.
it was known before 1910, when 12 soldiers died before leaving the doctor's office after getting ONE shot.

the cover up has cost the pharmacy tens of billions of dollars, but they make hundreds of billions, so they don't care how much it cost.
