So who is everyones favorite baseball team?

Mine has always been the Mariners, but they aren't doing to well this year.

I am an Astros fan. I grew up watching Nolan Ryan and JR Richard and have been following them ever since.

If you think you guys like bad teams, I've been a Pirates fan since I was a child. I used to go to church with Jay Bell, Andy van Slyke, and a couple other lower level players in Pittburgh. Unfortunately, after a solid team in the late 80s early 90s, the Pirates haven't had a winning season since 1992.

Cubs, of course. Every Christian should closely follow the Cubs, because, clearly, when they finally win the World Series, watch the eastern sky, Jesus' return can't be far behind!

Unfortunately.......and I mean unfourtunately, I'm a Red Sox fan. If locals do not root for the home team, then who will? :-? :) :biggrin

Go Pirates!! They stink and I'm PROUD of it!! There's hardly anything else to be proud of when it comes to Pittsburgh sports. The Penguins stink, the Pirates stink, and the Steelers are just plain mediocre.

But anyway, the Pirates are actually .500!! 22 wins and 22 losses! If they were in a different division they might be doing well!

....And if they don't?
Then I guess we're safe another year. Surely a loving God would not subject die-hard Cubs fans to year after year of torture only to die without the promise of a World Series???!

Just call me Abraham. I'll cling to my faith though I'm likely to die before seeing the promise fulfilled!

I'm a Cubs fan; born and raised in Chicago (and unfortunately the rest of my family except my brother are White Sox fans).
