Another gem from TV comic "genius" Sarah Silverman:

"I hope the Jews did kill Christ... I'd do it again. I'd EDIT do it againâ€â€in a second."

So no complaints from the ADL about that one, then. And not a word of complaint from Hagee and buddies – of course.

â€ÂBecause It’s FUNNY when we do it†(EDIT by aLoneVoice.)

Jhn 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

Although I like Silverman's self-deprecating humor, I do agree that she, along with Patton Oswalt, David Cross and George Carlin can marginalize Christians without any reprocation.

Not that I really care, though. It is simply comedy, and justification of my faith by a comic isn't really a big deal to me. Sometimes it is better to laugh at comics than to laugh with them.

Forgive me, but I really do not understand your point here. Would you elaborate please?

Actually, you should care. You should care that people portray Christianity in such a negative light, making our witness, in many cases, ineffective.

Personally, I don't feel any need for the OP to elaborate nor do I like the photo posted at that link. It's unbecoming of a Christian site to link to such a photo, therefore I am asking kindly that the link be removed from the OP and the above quote. Thanks.

I would venture a guess that the publicized things that actual church bodies occasionally do are more hurtful to witness than an insignificant, unpopular Jewish comic wanting attention. I guess that is just me.

True.
It amazes me when a non-christian will tell me what they believe about Christianity, or God, or faith ~ and end up quoting something that I recognize as being from George Carlin or Bart Simpson.

Just a heads up for those of you who are not Simpson fans...the show is more and more aggressive in its antichrist themes.
