Last night I did a 1.5 mile run in 14:05. This is a new record for me. I'm up to over 200 lbs on the ab machine, the butterfly machine, and the sit down dip machine. 40-45 lb dumbbell curls, 165 lbs on the row machine, 135 lbs on the forearm curls, and I can do 36 push ups without stopping. My goal is to exceed bare minimum fitness test requirements for Marine Corps boot camp graduation. As fit as a Marine. Still need to get my speed and distance up in the run, and get my sit ups and pull ups up to speed.

That's awesome! I love the feeling of being in shape, although health concerns prevent me from being in better shape.

In my 40's, I was in better shape than most 20 year olds. I'll give the credit to the Insanity workout. Man I miss that!

Me too. I had been a skier and tennis player; but didn't start running until I was 41. Did many 5 or 10ks. for close to 15 years. Now, at 81 I do Tai Chi. Just right for me.
