There is a you tube video called (Could Jesus Go This Crazy). It makes Jesus look like He’s gay.

I clicked on it to see what it was about.
I got sick and my heart literally hurt deep down inside.

I was thinking, our Lord, the one who suffered and died for us because He loves us so much and they go and do this to Him.

So I found my self praying, Praying for God to harshly punish those who made this video. I was not praying for their deliverance from sin, and maybe that is wrong but I can’t help the way I feel.

I do not even feel like pasting the link on our forum.
If you want to see it that bad you will have to past the name of the video in you tube and you will get it. But I assure you, it is sick and disgusting. I could only watch about ten seconds of it and then I clicked out in disgust.

What is this world coming to, it is becoming more evil every day. God tells us in His word that the hearts of many will turn cold toward Him and many will turn away from the faith in the last days.

My friends, I think the last days are upon us. So look up because that means Jesus is almost here to take us home.

Lord Praise Your Holy Name, may those who honor Your precious Name lift you up in their hearts and give you the most highest honor and praise and glory.

Punish those who do evil and blaspheme Your Name Oh God. And above all, (Come Quickly Lord Jesus ) Amen.
 
Try to pray for these folks not for their punishment. We should pray that all come to God and accept Jesus and be saved. Not for their bodily or spiritual harm.

My 2 cents.

I've seen some pretty bad things in my life and my stance would not change. Some acts are deplorable and our natural inclination is to condemn those that partake of these acts. Look long and hard and I think you will find the right thing to do is to pray for them. Now, if deplorable acts are against the law than justice must be served but I am assuming that no law was broken here.
 
Keep in mind Who it was that said, "Forgive them Father, they no not what they do."

I know that there is a anger that is righteous Lee. I share that kind of anger when I see blasphemies as well. But, we while we can pray that God will punish evildoers, and we can, there is clear biblical examples of this, I think that Jesus would far rather we follow His example and His exhortations and pray for those who persecute us and blaspheme Him.
 
While reading both of your post, one scripture come to mind,

Mtthew 12:32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

So with that in mind, I will let God be the judge and deal with them as He sees fit.
 
Lee, I commend you for taking the time to pray at least. When I see things like that, sometimes I'm so mad and hurt that I don't think to pray for the people who blasphemed. THIS is something to be ashamed of. :oops

Ok, that's a better attitude, Lee.

On a personal level, we shouldn't reward evil with more evil; we should pray for their healing instead. God is very good at defending Himself. :yes

Thanks for your replies, I guess I got all drove up, I was so mad and upset. You are right Vic, God is very good at defending Himself. And I am certain that He will punish those whom he will punish within His own good timing. God is so patient and He sees all of this evil and he is still so patient. It is only for our sakes that He is patient. He is waiting for the unsaved to come to faith in Him. God’s ways is not our ways. God know best. I will try to hold my temper.

I have been there. I understand the anger. It's justified. We just have to be careful and control it. That's something I still struggle with from time to time. Like... when... I talk about... Japanese horror films! Argh!
