9:00 movie left at 9:30pm I tried posting earlier, but I was on my phone. I posted and it logged me out. Anyway, the movie sucked. Rated R for a reason, right? In the first five minutes I was very very disgusted. I'm talking about gay sex and glorifying abortion. The previews made me think of Austin Powers/Borat. But it was far from....It made me think of why I hate this world. Within 20 minutes I asked to leave, we left. I didn't want to torture my soul anymore. Strike one was the elaborate gay sex/toy play, strike two was glamorizing abortion...lots of sin.
I couldn't take it and this was the first time I walked out of a movie!

I'm sorry for you. 
Borat was funny but there were parts that disturbed me so I am not surprised about Bruno. It seems Cohen is the type to always have to top himself.
What ever happened to comedy that didn't deliberately set out to shock and offend?

Yeah, I know what you meant. I'm just clarifying for the other readers. I'm no longer a fan of this man-doubt this was his goal. He made me not want to give him my money-EVER AGAIN. There was definitely a silence at times where few were laughing. Comedies aren't suppose to make you angry. I don't like where he is heading
More of the dumbing down of popular culture. Will Farrell is another example. Sorry, but I don't find the man funny at all!
I remember a time when comedians were clever and could make you laugh without putting disgusting images in front of you in in your mind.

It didn't tell the whole movie at all, not the article I read. It just told about the Character and some background info on the "plot"

I didn't watch the whole movie, so the wikipedia write up may have left parts out. But it definitely went through the scenes in the order I saw them with some details as to what occurred.

ed! Goodness!! That's not what I read at all, I typed in Bruno instead of Bruno film, and all I got was a wright-up of the charachter Bruno...which was enough to make me say "no thanks" :o
