No doubt in your Christian experience, you've heard someone say......"why did God let that happen"......
This question is the fake trump card of the Atheist as its their shallow and callow way to proclaim that ""if there IS a God , and He lets bad happen, then He must ither like bad or He must BE bad, or He must be so weak that He cant do anything about it.....so who would want THAT as their God?.

Now, recently i was talking to someone about this very same question.
They, a believer, = upset.... because a news report reported that a grandmother had killed her daughter's child.
Murdered it.
So, they wanted to know...."why did God let that happen".

Now when you hear a question like this, you need to realize that this is not a question, = its an accusation posed as a question.
See, any human being who has lived to be 40, or 30, if you were paying attention, has learned that the earth, the world,.... that LIFE,.... is really a veil of tears, its a thorn garden, and no one gets out alive.
So, we can manicure it, dress it up and perfume it, and we can ignore the facts, but, Life is hard and seldom fair, people are self absorbed and tend to be more cold hearted then caring, and if it were not for the Love of God and the Grace of God, it would be a whole lot worse down here.
Thats a fact.

So, here is something to think about the next time you are wondering why God didnt step in and make everything perfect for everyone at all times.

1.) Its not right or fair or wise, to blame God for the choices that people make and carry out to bestow harm and damage to themselves or someone else.
Just like a gun is an innocent tool until a human hand points it and a human finger uses the trigger of a gun to kill some with,....so, is CHOICE a Weapon or a Blessing, depending on how you USE YOUR CHOICE.
If you want to blame God for something, then blame Him for honoring the human race with the FREE WILL that some choose to use as EVIL.

2.) The next time you read about a baby being born with one arm, or a twisted spine, or blind at birth...then contrast that with how many babies per second, per minute, per hour, per day, per month, per year, (since time began) were and will be born with perfect feet, hands, head, brain, and HEALTH.
Then ask yourself..... >> W
hy is it that God is given all the blame for all of the bad that happens, but He is never given any credit for ALL OF the GOOD that is continuous.<< >?

What if your a Calvinist and God causes everything?
What if your not a Calvinist (The God that knows the future with His Crystal ball) Think that God saw it coming and could have set a roadblock at least?

Now if a person thinks God let them down and is to blame. Like the young Christian man who asked me why God allowed his Step Father to rape him over and over as a child. Then is just saying God is not to blame good enough? There is a major trust issue here, and to believe someone that would trust someone they feel let them down is pretty silly. People just don't think that way.

Anyway.
