Life Expectancy Calculator

https://www.livingto100.com/
The Living to 100 Life Expectancy Calculator uses the most current and carefully researched medical and scientific data in order to estimate how old you will live to be. Most people score in their late eighties... how about you?

My only reservations about such quizzes is that oftentimes it basically asks your weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc and all the other "establishment" criteria for longevity. Interpretation: to make the answers sound good, we need drugs "to bring those numbers down" and then we'll live longer. Nothing is ever said about NUTRITION except what to AVOID (never what to eat to make oneself healthy). All this is severe fallacy. If one dies "from too much cholesterol" for example at age 55, then if he takes meds for 10 years and gets it under control, he will still die at 55 except with lower numbers and a drained wallet. The problem with much of medical science is that it's more of a political/pharmaceutical agenda than sound science. Also, I find that those who want to know how long they are to live, and medical science' obsession with that is playing on the fear of dying. This is why they try to get an old person "healthy" with meds just as they would a young person when what is happening is the old person is starting the degeneration and dying process. It seems they can't face the fact that one day they'll get old and die, so they treat it as an illness "condition" rather than age. That said, a person should live well without many problems until about 80. Maybe 70 with the bible's 3 score and ten. But after that, it's borrowed time anyway. A person who makes it to that age has no apologies to anyone -- that's the human lifespan.

I had a great uncle who spent a lot of time in the gutter, as a street alcoholic, drinking port, not eating much at all, and chain smoked. He was a mess. Classic street wino.

Didn't quit drinking/smoking till he was 88-89.

Lived to 97.

Lifestyle is probably of less importance to longevity than is proposed, regardless of government statistics. He was a small man though, about 5'7" and weighed maybe 130-140 lbs. I think that more than anything may have had a long life contribution factor.

Well, see now, if he wouldn't have quit, he'd probably have made it past 100. :lol That is, unless he was getting forgetful and burned the house down leaving cigarettes, cigars or pipes lay around.
